Well done to you too Maureen

I didn't expect to do as well as last week ( the first week is always easier ) but I'm quite happy as long as the scales keep going down, I'm aiming for 2lbs this week then I will have met my first target ..

Blimey! I bet he doesn't eat now, until the next weigh-in. Though, to be fair loads of beer and 3 puds should have provided sufficient calories to last him until Friday?

Oh dear, l did rather over indulge didn't l Robbie... but then we all know what a combination of good food, several pints, and great company dose for you. :D

I'm still feeling a little bloated, although this may have had something to do with the three pudding gut busters which tasted soooo good that it would have been discurtious not to have tried all three...

Btw Robbie when we got back to the hotel room Mrs Onelife made me drink several glasses of water... try doing that on top of a skin full of tetlys...dribble dribble.

Hope Mrs AOTH enjoyed herself as much as we did

See you soon

Regards

Keefy

Morning pinchers,

Due to unforeseen circumstances I was unable to weigh in on Sunday. I don’t wish to enter into discussion as to why I didn’t weigh in but I’m now holding the “not so” coveted wooden spoon as a punishment.

Well didn’t you all do well... none more so than Susan with a very impressive 4lb weight loss, therefore deserving of last week’s slimmer of the week celery stick award.

Congratulations... well done Susan keep it up.

Remember pinchers... " indulgent sin won't make you thin " And don’t I know it

Stay strong pinchers

Regards

Keith

Hi Maureen,

If you had seen the spread that the AOTH family had put on then you would have put on 3 lbs before a morsel had touched your lips...How the hell can one nights indulgence contribute to a 3 lb weight gain?...Thinking about it I don’t suppose the English breakfast or the three jammy dodgers on the way home helped

Remember.. "Maureens strawberry trifle makes for quite an eyeful"

Regards

Keith

Keith - that slogan is a bit below the belt (in more ways than one).

Take comfort Keith...the wooden spoon is not yours. It is mine! I must be the only inch pincher to have put on weight steadily over the last three weeks, and I am not proud of it. Now 207lbs.....

Home made cakes, (I made an orange madeira cake yesterday) and too many meals with rice in them! Winter comfort eating, so roll on some warmer weather.

I Know Keith, I seem to have a good day, then a bad day. Yesterday was good, today we have been entertaining two elderly widowed neighbours, with my home made madeira cake, and home made scones strawberry jam, and cream. It transpires they dont eat much...you can imagine the rest.

I am weighing myself every morning to try to keep control of it. I was 198lbs on the first of September, the current aim is to stay below 207lbs and hopefully get below 196lbs, by the end of March, but it isn't easy at present.

That's very good Frank cos you're not a little chap. If I can get down to 207lbs that will do me nicely - just 4lbs that's all and then we'll see. The trouble is I enjoy the wrong foods too much, especially chocolate so it's never easy. I admire all of you who are being so good and shedding the weight. I've always found it's hard to get going but once the weight starts shifting it actually goes quite quickly. It's just that setting off bit for me!!

Good luck and congrats to you all. Me? Can do better!! :( :tired:

ABS? Anti-lock Braking System? This dieting lark is more technical than I thought.

Nah, it's probably Acrylonitrile Butadeine Styrene.
