I was watching a video on YouTube which says that all of the Carnival Group cruise lines are dumping the evening turn downs.

Sturgeon !
How wonderful and refreshing to see a politician call it a day with dignity, recognising that they have failed on pretty much every level.
I wish some of these U.K. ministers would be as graceful.

In other good news Corbyn will not be a Labour candidate and at last Starmer has the balls to declare what sort of Labour Party he wants.

I'm getting really annoyed about coverage of the murder of Brianna Ghey. And the police apparently investigating whether it was a "hate" crime.

It is said she was a transgender girl. To me that is utterly irrelevant. A young human being has been brutally murdered. Whatever her gender, sexuality or anything else that is hateful in my book.

Let's just treat this as the horrendous crime it is and cut all the woke bollocks. It's an unnecessary distraction. Would it have been any less awful if she'd been born a girl or remained a boy? Those who killed her should be locked up forever. The end.

Probably due to self-inflicted burn-out…she never did make much of an impact on anything she did, least of all with her independence fixation.

I was quite impressed with Keir Starmer’s proclamations of what his party stands for and what he wants to his party to deliver.

While acknowledging the labour party would still have some dead wood vying for the top jobs, he appears to be saying all the right things…so with this in mind and the fact that a much-needed change in our political system will be a long time in coming perhaps now is the right time for a change of government?

He reminds me of Harry and Meghan when it comes to telling the truth

I’m presuming the use of ‘hate’ crime is a term used if the police think this could have been orchestrated by others who hide behind computer screens while getting kids to carry out these vile acts of violence/murder.

I don't think it's that at all. White person attacks black person = hate crime. Black person attacks white person doesn't. Transgender child killed = hate crime. Non-transgender child killed doesn't. It's cobblers. All crime is crime. All victims are victims.

We are in that sort of blame age.
There was a black chap on the news looking at the wall of Covid hearts in London and telling how his father had died of the illness.I had sympathy with him until he said "If he had been a white man he would have been saved".I presume from that no white people died and I suddenly felt differently towards him.
I get totally brassed off with this woke, racist, sexist, misogynistic, LBGTQ+ etc agenda which is thrown about at every opportunity. I am beginning to think I am the only one who doesn't fit in with any of these agendas.
And I have my doubts about OL and his meghanistic leanings!!!

But that's not due to a lack of care. I believe black people get the same level of care as anybody else.

It’s looking like Honest Harry and Meghanfantastic might be attending the Coronation but keeping a low profile… I'll be disappointed if they do as they haven’t as yet received the Royal apology that they unquestionably deserve.

Surprised they are coming. I would have thought they would be preparing for the court case being brought against MeAgain following another of her dodgy truths in the Winfrey interview.

Is that the court case her jealous, money grabbing half sister is hoping to gain from?

She and her father have already been shown to be downright liars so when the case is dismissed it’ll just be another of those accusations born out of pure vindictiveness.

One can understand why she is doing this when her “Pushy Princess book” has been a dismal flop…if you don’t succeed the first time try something different springs to mind.

However ...

A white person attacking a black person could be classified as a hate crime in the same way that a man who beats up his wife for infidelity could be considered to be a crime of passion. Such classifications could be useful for the judge when it comes to passing a sentence on the guilty party.

It could be that the chap simply said that his father would have been saved ( from death ) had he been white. This is sadly the unfortunate consequence of Covid.

In which case, since it is a sad fact of life which cannot be changed was there any need to bring colour into it? Sadly many people of all colours and faiths lost friends and relatives as a consequence of Covid.

I agree Mob…it’s certainly not black or white when it comes to a judge having to evaluate the circumstances behind such crimes.

I don’t know the circumstances behind this story but it probably boils down to how the reporter posed the question to get the story he wanted?

I think the quote was "If he had been a white man he would have lived". I don't think the reporter prompted any response, it was just this man's reaction.

This can be interpreted in many ways but all I am saying is why bring colour into it? We are all the same colour underneath and it just perpetuates difference.
