This is what we have achieved in taking back control.....

"We believe, therefore, that when Prime Minister May comes to the European Council today she cannot come empty handed. We expect the Prime Minister to indicate what are the prospects of the cross-party talks between the Government and the Labour Party and their anticipated results and whether a solid parliamentary majority in support of such an agreement exists. If not, she should indicate clearly the way forward (be it a referendum, a general election, or a revocation)."
https://www.europarl.europa.eu/unitedki ... ummit.html

We are being told it's her deal (nobody but Keith wants that),
or referendum (Remain wins, YAY!)
or general election (Tories, give up power? Unlikely)
or revocation (YAY!)
Testiculi ad Brexitum. Venceremos.

Purely for completeness … or an addendum to time limit the backstop position.

To my simple mind, the last thing either of the two major parties would want is for the UK to participate in EU elections, which could easily give rise to a radical realignment of the political system. So surely a peoples vote, second referendum call it what you will appears to be the least damaging choice for May and Corbyn.

Dear Brexiteer
The Brexit betrayal has shown itself to be in full swing.
Brexit has been delayed, diluted and distorted.
It’s time to fight back.
We are launching the Brexit Party with a series of huge rallies, taking place all across the country.
Our aim is to win the European Elections on the 23rd May, now that Westminster is preventing Brexit.

The time has come to teach our politicians in Westminster a lesson.
I will be speaking at these events along with our great new candidates, and I hope to see you there.
Please join us on Saturday 13th April, in Hall One at the ICC, Broad Street, Birmingham, B1 2EA. Doors open at 1:15pm for a 2pm start. Tickets can be purchased here.
You can also join us on Monday 15th April, at the Devonshire Park Theatre, 8-10 Compton Street, Eastbourne BN21 4BW. Doors open at 6:15pm for a 7pm start. Tickets can be purchased here.

Before the Brexit vote, I promised an earthquake in British politics.
This time, I will attempt a political revolution.
I can only do it with your help.
I look forward to seeing you all soon.
Kind regards,

Nigel Farage
Leader, The Brexit Party.

This is what the anti democrats have forced upon the UK.
Hope that they are all happy and content if Brexit Party return 70 odd seats in the EU parliament.
But we don't do right wing in this country they will bleat !
Well, we do now.
Cheers Europhiles.

The anti democrats have worn everyone down.
Well played guys .
You must be very proud to have been part of the movement that managed to overturn a democratic vote, without it ever being enacted, in the UK for the first time. to you !

It's of no consequence to me who leads the Tories however if I had to pick one of the useless bunch, I'd probably opt for Leadsom.

How long is May going to hang on by her fingertips ?

The absolute ultimate humiliation was yesterday, when the Prime Minister of The United Kingdom & Northern Ireland was sent to an anti room while the Prime ministers of Luxembourg , Malta and Slovakia determined our destination.

This is the PM of one of the most powerful countries in the world, being given a lesson in humility by countries with an economy about the size of a small English city.

I know she is thick skinned, but blimey, she's like a Rhino. :o

Leaders are elected to lead, and she has not shown one ounce of that quality, to the detriment of our country.

Barney, the lesson to be learned is to have an achievable plan and strategy before embarking on such complex negotiations.

Absolutely Ray. I thought she was a do nothing Home Secretary but she's turned into a do nothing PM. The plan, as you put it should have been very simple. Leave the EU with a trade agreement. A trade deal negates the WA.

In fairness, she was dealt a very weak hand, a party rife with division, where she did not feel comfortable with a majority of 17. controlled to a large degree by a minority but powerful element. Unwilling to seek consensus. Even David Davies suggested this at the beginning of the 'negotiations', Oh and I don't think that anyone can reasonably consider that there was a simple solution out there.

Does this mean that the ongoing shenanigans will last for another six months and at the end of it we will still be in the same position, or will some other group of MPs come up with another "master plan" to force another extension?

The whole thing is simple - MPs do as they have been told and vote for the WA then we can all start to get a life again!

I think that even the most cynical project fear proponent is now accepting that life outside the EU will be different but not necessarily much worse economically, unless of course Jeremy Cornyn becomes PM.
