If she gets to hear about your remarks you’ll be given the “Chop”

Ellie, Annabel and Layton to make the final.

Assuming Ellie is in the final then, if the regular voting on the strictly spoiler is indicative of the BBC voting, and not subject to a BBC bias algorithm, then she should be a nailed on winner.

Hi john, in betting terms Ellie is 1/5 on ( £5 staked to win £1)…You don’t get many 1/5 shots getting turned over so I think your “nailed on winner” is nigh on over the line.

I had a sneaky look at the voting on the Spoiler site and on their count Layton is the least popular by a mile. The producers seem to be desperate to get a single sex winning couple, to the extent of recruiting a very experienced dancer to the party. But it seems the voting public are having none of it.

Layton and Ellie would need to be in the dance off for Layton to get voted off by the judges….I can’t see him getting voted off in preference for the other two?

It was probably his last week in the competition but still a shame he couldn’t make the floor for his final dance.

I’m hoping Annabel gives a great performance tonight.

My dear wife loves the show, where as I normally take it or leave.
When I do watch parts of the show, one thing niggles, that is when the contestants are dancing, the feet and legs are parts that judges look at and comment on, so why does the director tell the camera man to close in on the faces leaving the viewer unable to see all the footwork.
Don't worry, be happy

Spoiler result.

Annabel…drab costume, too much stage smoke…thankfully she has next week’s dance to turn her fortunes around.

Ellie…found the routine far too busy for my liking…that being said she is a fantastic dancer... we’ll see her in the final.

Layton…didn’t deserve tens for that routine as they were out of sync on their first spin…only those of us with a keen eye and dancing experience will have noticed this  . The question of whether Nikitina is in the change is up for debate, what with all the clawing and kissing they were exhibiting.

Bobby…has improved week on week but his showpiece lift was akin to a rugby lineout that nearly ended in a scrum.

Nigel…needs stronger pain killers.

Layton’s got it in the bag. Great recovery from last weeks dance off.

I think Motsi liked it.

Not necessarily. On the spoiler site he is way behind the other three and remember that this is the public vote - albeit only a small percentage of the public but in previous weeks it has been a good representation.

If he does manage to get to the final he will not win.

My main gripe with Layton, is that every week he does the same stuff. That bore no resemblance ro the actual dance last night it was another show dance, Then the judges mad it so obvious that they are under orders to get him to the top so that he isnt in the dance off again. I'm surprised at Shirley for toeing the BBC line on it.

Come on Layton. Last night's dance was the best by a country mile.

I'm think Angela will be voted out. Both of them.

I agree Frank. They claim his previous dance experience is no advantage because this is Ballroom and Latin dancing but he makes every dance a show dance, which is exactly what his experience is. He's doing very little proper Ballroom and Latin content. Then they make their bias obvious by giving him 10s for a dance no better than Ellie's where they could only scrape 9s. They make it worse by banging on about how he is dealing with adversity and negativity. Just get on with discussing the dancing fairly and forget the political correctness.

I thought Anton would be an asset to the judging panel but I’m now starting to wonder. Not sure if he is trying to be the reincarnation of Bruno? but his exuberant outbursts are starting to grind on me.
