Watching them in the Dance Off it was a fair result, because Julian's was a tough routine, and OK it wasn't a classic jive, but he did well.

I am now going to torment my brother who is a big Vanessa Felz fan....I cant understand why, but hey ho.

Well that was a result, although I have never liked her, I think she deserved to go on her dancing alone. :D

I thought Julien did pretty well, but I suppose he will go next week. The public don't seem to like him. Vanessa just can't dance, she thought she could, but James was very gracious..... good for him.

Quite right Stephen. It couldn't have been much fun for him. Do you think the professionals draw straws?

I think that it may be more a case with some of them that they "choose" to have a celebrity who will not be around long so that they can keep their name in the public arena whilst perusing other channels - several of them have tours about to start.

Well, Julien has gone. In the dance off I thought he did better than Rachael.....she did not seem to get "into" it. Still what do I know.?

I think Rachel's was a more difficult routine. Also, Julian has been in the dance-off every time, so clearly has not got the public vote. A case of 3 strikes and you're out?

I agree the public did not seem to like him, and it is true he is no dancer. However, to us (OH too) Rachael did not seem to have her heart in it, maybe she did not feel 100%. However, the dross is gradually being weeded out, and in the latter part of this show, it should be a good competition. i love it.

Who will judge instead of Craig, nothing has been said, so he must be coming from his hospital bed. Really????

I rather like Rachael but I don't think this week did her justice, I don't know about anyone else but I didn't think she had 'the look', I was looking more at her dress than how she actually danced ( which was quite good really )

Will be interesting who will replace Craig although the recovery for 'hip ops' is pretty good so maybe he will only be missing for a couple of weeks.

I saw the last few dancers last night but never bother with the silly results show, I just read the forum late Saturday night to find out who's gone !. I don't know why they carry on pretending its live on the Sunday. Anyway, Craig's hip operation - on the news the other day they showed just how quickly people can recover now. They do some under local anaesthetic and get people up and about the same day. They showed some really quite elderly people just after having a replacement. Maybe being younger and so fit Craig will be up and about quickly.

only a couple of "dancers" left to get rid of and it will be a true competition

old Craig is on the strictly cruise soon as well as his hip op,

I am pleased Julien got voted out. Poor Rachel coped well with an extremely fast complicated routine.
Naughty Pasha making it far too difficult for her 3 rd dance. I wonder if he did it deliberately to get voted out?

I think that it is more about tactics.

My understanding is that they all have a list of dances that they have to do throughout the competition, but they can do them in any order that they want. So it makes sense to get the more difficult/tricky ones out of the way early on when there are worse dancers around and you stand less chance of being knocked off the show.

I agree Jay.

Never liked the bloke myself but I thought he was the better dancer. A fix if you ask me.

The best bit of Saturday nights show was when Len came out with his remark to Craig about 'it'll be him clutching his cheeks when he has his operation'. :D

Much as I like Mark Benton, his dance bore no resemblace to a Cha Cha, in fact until Sue crrected me I thought he was doing the Salsa. Same with Dave Myers; I like him but both Rachel Riley and Julien danced better. I still rate Sophie Ellis-Bextor to give Natalie a run for her money.

Hi Frank,

I have to agree with you about Julian... he certainly danced better than two of the other couples... just goes to show having a flamboyant personality doesn’t always sit well with the voting public.

Don’t forget my tip Patrick Robison he danced superbly on Saturday night.

When will you realise that it is not a "dancing" competition but a "personality" competition

Hi David,

It takes two to tango and personality alone won’t take you to the final.

Was working tonight so didn't even see a snippet. Husband watched and was suprised at who's gone. I'm not going to spoil it but who do you think has been voted off tonight ?.

It's a tough call this week. Obviously the worst dancer was Dave but will the public vote for him because he has a fantastic personality and tries really hard?

Rachel was not good this week but again Pasha's choreography let her down again.

Deborah And the table would get my vote to go home even though she wasn't the worst dancer. Now Julien has gone she is the one I like watching the least.

Patrick was hampered with his injury but hopefully he will get the sympathy vote as he quite entertaining.

I hope you are right David, although if it was the dancing that was being judged she should have been out last week, but this week there were worse dancers than her. I just don't know what it is about her that I can't take to.

If ever I am in need of a wheel chair I want one like Craigs, plenty of bling.
