Dear Cruise Community'eers,

Good afternoon to you all and thanks especially to Smurfie....this all looks very grand....are you Bill Gates in disguise? It's a little more to my taste than facebook which is a little "shallow" in my humble opinion...yes I know Facebook is loved by zillions...but in the fashion of a certain monocled personage...I am right and they are ALL wrong!

So you're the one! From what I hear, Facecloth is falling out of favour, especially amongst the younger generation.

Shiney. It's cos of old duffers like the Admiral being on Facecloth, that the children are turning away from it. I mean, who want to see pics of their father "Dad dancing" on his 50th???

I'm on it....and friends of all my kids and their partners.
It has it uses, if you use it properly and just for fun.

I have to admit I am a social media fan, not only a FB account, 2 x twitter (one work related), Google + and Blogger.

My daughter and I are both on, we have a few mutual laughs, and I keep in touch with a wide range of organisations of interest to me, old shipmates, previous colleagues and P&O cruising chums. I just say be careful what information you give away.

I joined Facebook but my 27 year old son won't. His best mate sent me a friendship request and I quite often finds things out from him that my son hasn't told me
