Flora Bradshaw

Unread post by Onelife »

Hi all,

May I introduce you to a young lady that we met on our last cruise? Her name is Flora Bradshaw a name which I believe we are going to hear a lot more of in the not too distant future. I had been corresponding with Flora’s mother prior to our last cruise and through these messages we found out that our daughters had a mutual interest in Music. We eventually met up on the cruise and the two girls along with other friends enjoyed each other’s company for the duration of the cruise. Flora entered the junior talent competition and although I didn’t get to see her perform she did however go on to win.

Moving forward a couple of years my daughter asked me to listen to Flora (accompanied by her sister) singing her cover version of Adele’s “Hometown Glory” which has just been posted on YouTube.

If anyone is interested in listening to this talented 17 year old open the link below.

What a lovely post to stumble across on the Internet! Thank you very much all, your kind words mean a lot to me! I also have a soundcloud page where I post lots of songs (with lots of harmonies!) the link is here: www.soundcloud.com/flora-Emily-bradshaw I think. If I have got that wrong I am sure it would be easy to find upon googling.
Thanks again for watching my video, your kind words and to Onelife for posting such a nice message.

Whilst I have to agree with him, he says that to all the ladies. No doubt he will be sending you a box of Keefy's speciality chocolates very shortly!!!

Hi OBF

I'm sure Flora has been brought up well enough knowing never to accept sweets from strangers...which begs the question why the other ladies on this furom havn't done the same?

Hi DTM

My tablet doesn't seem to want to let me access Flora's "suncloud" link so l'm going to have to wait till my daughter gets back to stear me in tne right direction....l'm sure she will be able to access it on her Ipad.

Can you see if Flora has done a cover of Sarah Mclachlan's " ln the arms of an Angel"? I'm sure Flora's style of singing would do this song justice. I love this song even though the lyrics are quite sad.

Regards

Keith

Yes keefy, so far they have all said its "brilliant" (but then they are family!), and definitely think I should self-publish it.

But at the same time, they understand my concerns over some of the personal content so I'm still mulling that over - as one friend said, once it's published it's out there for good.

Hi Dennis,

It's not an easy call but one that only you can make. I suppose the first step before making and decission would be to get a professional opinon (not online publishers) as to the saleability and readership appeal.

I can only give you my personal opinion but if it was me l would bequest your book to your children and let them make that decision.

I am however willing proof read it for you....Dad

Your illegitimate son

DtM, why don't you just change the names of the folks concerned? That's what my mum's neighbour did when he wrote his book telling how he built a house in Corfu

Short of time travel, and an intimate knowledge of your mum Keefy, I'm not sure it's possible for me to be your father ;-)
If you have any other suggestions that don't follow the plot of the Star Wars movies, then I'm all ears :-)
