Are There Any Features That You Want?
Now that I have got the forum up and running I was wondering if there are any features that you would like adding to the forum.
I am not guaranteeing that any will be added and some will probably not be possible.
Before anyone asks having groups with wall/forums as on the P&O Community is not a possibility.

Re: Are There Any Features That You Want?
how's about numbered posts - it's easier to give a link and say, "post 936" than say, "9.45 on Feb 30th"

Could we make P&O Secrets and Bargain Deals as stickies? The latter could be pruned from time to time as deals become obsolete.
I expect Ken will want to include anything Kylie as his request

Within the posting itself I would tend to agree but the time is better, imo, with a Topic Listing Display.Meg 50 wrote:how's about numbered posts - it's easier to give a link and say, "post 936" than say, "9.45 on Feb 30th"

Cog / Gallery / Manage Personal Albums / Upload Image
You will need to build an Album and then upload images into it / them.

Could you add a ' Title ' sub-button to the ' URL ' Tab for an either / or option.
ps ... I am aware of Ken's Link post but the method above is easier for all Members.

QB, you can already do multi--quotes but it requires a bit of copying and pasting. If you are using the full editor and scroll down you will find the last few posts which you can copy and paste into the input box. You then just need to highlight the text and click on the 'Quote' button in the toolbar .. you could also type the 'quote' tags in manually as below
Note the use of quotation marks around the persons name in the second example.
Code: Select all
your text goes here
or
your text goes here
-

Even easier than that KenQuizzical Bob wrote:Multi-quotes?
Just scroll down the list of posts below the posting box and click on "Quote"
i.e.

Nice one david, hadn't noticed that little facility .... I have been that used to the copy/paste trick for so long that I missed out on that feature.

Thanks, I'll try that next time I need it. I normally use Tapatalk and on another forum it has a separate button for multi-quotes (I think).

It is possible now, apart from the fact that this feature is currently disabled.Meg 50 wrote:is it possible to add photos from our comps via the browse button?
The problem with uploading anything from your own computer and including it in a post is that there are security issues with it.
I need time to consider the implications.

David, Is it possible to give a clearer indicator of threads you are subscribed to? The current little circle on the larger circle does not stand out like the bold tick on Cruise Critic.

Towny, the only other thing is to play around with the different templates and see if one of the others makes it clearer ... I know in prosilver you get a little asterisk.
It takes a little while to get used to new templates though.
