lioness, it's an acquired taste, and I've acquired it. A bacon butty would not be the same without it.

I'm not too worried whether it's HP, Daddies, Tesco best or Bramwell's from that deli we know as Aldi. Nothing goes better with a good British fryup or part thereof.

Our current brown sauce of choice is Branston, and they also make a fruity version too.

Like Angie says - best enjoyed in conjunction with a pork pie.

Might have to give that a try sometime Ken.

We usually have the Ancona hot chilli sauce in - which is very spicy (but does soften once it's been open for a while). It's cheap cheap at Home Bargains.

I have been on Tenko rations for weeks now and have walked myself silly and have lost...............NOTHING!!! I reckon just the mention of bacon butties and brown sauce is stacking the calories.
