Thanks Barney on behalf of the Hatters. Many supporters felt that they had a raw deal in the first place, just because the Manager blew the whistle on some dodgy agent dealings as I recall.

Our whole family are delighted with the news, and we aren't mad football fanatics either, one branch on my brother's side support Spurs and the other Arsenal.
Welcome back Frank. There's a world of difference between the way that Luton were treated and those whose name we dare not speak down on Portsea Island.

Huddersfield eventually made themselves safe on Easter Monday, though without some clear improvement I think we could struggle next year. We host the Champions on Saturday - Foxy's lot are worthy winners of the league, but I predict a close win for the Town! :D

Same here Romig.

It would be awful bad luck for us to get relegated now.

We will also struggle without serious investment and a huge change in playing staff.

Peter Taylor seems to have the tactics sussed, it's just that the players don't always do as they are told.

Gills are officially staying up, as are Huddersfield.

Phew, can go into final game with no pressure.

The Foxes were a class apart today. Although they have few big star names, they are an exceptionally good footballing side, and we struggled today (although we also didn't play anywhere near our potential). We had one chance (when one down) which was cleared off the line, but apart from that we looked an inferior side.

The away fans had a good day out, and fair play to them. Good luck next season in the Prem - I hope they confound the perennial critics wrong.

When I see that Luton finished on 101 points, I wonder what I was worrying about when they were on 89, and then 92 points.

I can see the Hatters storming League Two next season Frank. That is assuming that they can hang on to the better players.
Andre Grey has been linked with the world and his wife, including us.

Good luck to fans of all teams in the playoffs. It's the best way to be promoted !

My brother thinks Cambridge will not qualify now, rather like Luton in the year that York went up. I am keeping my fingers crossed that Grey stays. As ever in football, money will be a big factor.

Against Cambridge too. I did the half-time summary for the hospital radio when they played Scunthorpe at the Abbey Stadium in 1970. Kevin Keegan was number 10 for Scunthorpe.

Dear Friend

Just a short leisurely stroll from your pad to Dean Court

Do hope the Hatters will, with a bundle of luck, have the privileged of facing the mighty Cherries

Many good wishes to you and the lubbery Sue

Yes thanks Graham, it's not far for me to go to watch the Cherries...three families in our road go to every home game, and our Rotary Club is only half full on the Tuesday evenings when they are playing at home. I hope Luton do get down here. Best wishes, from Me and Sue.
