Well it seems that York hosted a lovely day out for you both - smashing.

When's the next outing? We'll look forward to another report of a great day out for you both.

You have done really well going in the right direction up till now so I'm sure you will soon get back on track. What is the weight you are aiming for?

Hi Maureen

Thank you for the encouragement.

I'd like to get below 11st.

Hoever - last night I managed to get into a 34" waist for the first time in very many years so treated myself to three new pairs of trousers.

S S, I don't know your age or height but I consider getting down to a size 34" is very encouraging for you. Over the summer months you may lose more without really trying.

As with Ladies, there comes a time when too much loss can affect your face so be happy if you only get 'nearly' there.

Alan - 3 pairs of new trousers!!! Now you've got to keep going.

We went to Portsmouth this week and I risked buying a size 12 dress in the MS outlet at Gunwharf. It was reduced to £30 so I thought I would risk it. The shoulders fit perfectly but it is a 'cosy' fit across the butt especially as all my 14s were getting very loose. Because it feels so fitted, I keep saying to Ken that good old saying 'does my bum look big in this?' Like most men he glances quickly and says 'it looks o.k. to me' and then goes straight back to watching the t.v so I'm still a bit uncertain about the dress.

I weigh each morning and the last few days I have been down around the 139 lb 8 oz mark but I am now trying to level off a bit and I am finding it harder to work out what and how much to eat. I'm sure with the wine and sweets/crisps at a friends tonight a bit will go back on but it is difficult to know when to stop as it can be quite addictive watching the figures go down.

Hi pinchers

Well another weigh in beckons so l hope you've all been good and are looking forward to tomorrow's weigh in. I wish l had posted my weight this morning as l was weighing in 1 lb lighter than what l did last week, unfortunately my wife has just arrived back from our local farm shop with 6 fairy cakes topped off with chocolate cream....if that wasn't bad enough she announced we are having a McDonald's later. Well l've tucked into the fairy cakes and l'm debating whether or not l should succumb to temptation and blow my diet and join Alan and do a bit of "hovering" this week. Besides l've still got 11 weeks to go before our cruise so won't want to peak to soon...23lbs down 5 to go.

Two dress sizes smaller Maureen...well done you

I've noticed a few of my pinchers have failed to weigh in this past few weeks..... McVitie's Chocolate Digestives on offer Frank?

Stay strong pinchers.....and remember... " man desiring maiden fair should of his body take more care"

Regards

Keith

Perhaps my bookies runner associate that slogan should now read "man desiring maiden fair should of the buffet be aware"

BTW what do you think of this slogan? " when Batty bends over you see The White Cliffs of Dover"

Hi Jonty,

Bit below the belt if you ask me

I like the one about Dancing Queen better but you'll only get to read it "Jo" if you tip the scales in the right direction at tomorrow's weigh in....but then there's always next weeks weigh in :)

Keep em coming Jon.....Oh, and l don't suppose you could come up with one about McVitie's chocolate biscuits could you?

Must dash my burger and chips have just arrived

Regards

Keith

"If you're prepared to risk it, eat a McVities chocolate biscuit" however there's potential for improvement!

Hi all,

I have now got back to normal after a hectic 3 weeks of babysitting and family visiting for the holiday period. I got on the scales this morning and have lost what I put on during this time.

Now back on the straight and narrow. Missed my target of losing a stone by the end of April by 6 lbs so new target is to lose this in 3 weeks.

Good luck everyone.

Sue

Good Morning Pinchers

Well done to everyone

I'm happy to report I've lost 1 lb which was a bit of a surprise as I did think I would have gone up considering I've had a couple of 'naughty' weeks although I have been especially good this week ... well until I ate the box of Maltezers on Friday night

No dieting today as it's my husbands birthday so I've got a few treats for him which I'm sure he will want to share

OK Keefy what have you got lined up for me !!

Had good 3 mile pram-pushing session, some of it uphill, and even though we 'escaped' afterwards to congratulate ourselves in a local cakery with a hot drink and a slice of unmentionable (which was really dreamy), I still managed to shed a bit of weight!

More pram pushing methinks!

Good morning pinchers,

Just got back from a lovely walk along the "greenway" which runs along Stratford upon Avon race cource.

Well this weighing in process is a funny old business. Having weighed in yesterday at 1lb lower l thought by this morning l would have put it back on again especialy so after tucking into a Big Mac lasr night. Hey ho, weighed myself this morning and l've lost another 1lb which has taken me below 12 stone for the first time in 20 years....only 3 lbs to go to reach my target of 11 stone 10 lbs :D

I'm sensing some very positive vibes coming from my fellow pinchers and feel the coming weeks are going to see some significant weight loses from all of you...well done to all my pinchers l'm really proud of you so lets all try and have a good week next week.....come on we can do this

Stay strong pinchers and remember.... "She has a figure to preen eating like Dancing Queen" :)

Regards

Agree with Andrea that was very good, Keith. Well done everyone on the weight loss. I weighed in at 140 lbs this morning after pigging out last night on Magnums, chocolates and wine but I am now into hovering mode so not too worried about the slight increase since yesterday.

I wonder what Jo's treats were for her husband
