Treats for Jo,s Husband. Mmmmmm That could be a tricky question for her to answer. A pretty negligee to show off her new figure or something nice to eat and drink.
My OH's 2nd choice would be for a pint of Caffreys and a packet of crisps.

I'm not telling MaureenKenmo1 wrote:Agree with Andrea that was very good, Keith. Well done everyone on the weight loss. I weighed in at 140 lbs this morning after pigging out last night on Magnums, chocolates and wine but I am now into hovering mode so not too worried about the slight increase since yesterday.Andrea S wrote:Oh for a like button.
I wonder what Jo's treats were for her husband

It could be improved by eating the whole packet.....
Cruelty!! Cruelty!! How can you mention them when I have publicly stated that I am an addict?
We have been making cakes all weekend for the Rotary Club Donkey Derby and Fete in Bournemouth tomorrow, we have had to melt chocolate, and there has been a packet of ordinary McVities Digestives in the cupboard.... I leave the rest to your imagination! I am struggling to stay under 210 lbs, and tomorrows weigh in may be a big disappointment!

Don't panic Captain Manning you're 50 pounds lighter than me AND this was all Onelife's idea, nothing to with SS.Frank Manning wrote:Silver_Shiney wrote:Jonty S1 wrote:"If you're prepared to risk it, eat a McVities chocolate biscuit" however there's potential for improvement!

Another good reason to think healthy....
Compared to men of a healthy bodyweight, overweight men (with a body mass index of 25 or higher) have a 25% increase colon cancer risk. Obese men (with a BMI of 30 or higher) have a 50% increased risk of colon cancer. There is a smaller risk increase for colon cancer in overweight and obese women.

Thanks a lot for that, Keith! Cheered me up no end, returning from a liquid lunch provided by the present Mrs J, who had previously melted my cc topping up her wardrobes (plural) for our imiminent trip! You really know how to say the right thing at the wrong time.Onelife wrote:Another good reason to think healthy....

Btw, this reads a bit harsh, am only playing! AND you can tell it was a liquid lunch through my initial twitch when typing imminent, still getting used to this iPad malarkey.Jonty S1 wrote:Onelife wrote:Another good reason to think healthy....

There are a few things on chat furoms that you have no control over, one of which is the way other members intperate your posts....be reassured there was nothing in your post that l found remotely "harsh" .....l did however have a bad day at the races on Saturday so if you are still feeling twinges of guilt you can forward a cheque to the onelife cruise fund.
Thank you
Regards
Keith

Not harsh at all Onelife. If it was ever to be read that way, it would be harsh but fair. Meanwhile you keep slimming and I'll keep composing.

Didn't weigh in last week and have put on 1lb over the last 2 weeks.
Doing a 10k run this Sunday in Oxford (the town and gown) for muscular dystrophy.
Hopefully next week will be a loss.

Best of luck

Thanks Keith,
I have been training for it. I run about 5 miles twice a week but the problem is when I get back I'm famished and can't stop eating. This lasts for about 2 days.....need more self control.

The thing which really makes me hungry is swimming - I don't mean just splashing about for fun, and it's not ploughing up and down all the time doing lengths, but it's one heck of a job keeping the blinkers on in the coffee shop afterwards!
I've found a (NOT) great to shed some weight - get rushed into hospital and spend a couple of days there - back home for a few days, trying to maintain the new weight loss.

Thanks for the kind good wishes - it all got a bit epic and 'blues and twos', but I have escaped for the weekend, and I'm back off for a procedure next week.
I just kept getting loads of photos on my phone of the baby, and that cheered me up no end, but I had a good cuddle this afternoon - smashing medicine that!

Hi Jo,
I think I need to bow to your superior knowledge - silly question........ if I get this stick of celery, can I beat young men with it, and does it need to be dry, damp, strong or limp?
Answers on a postcard please!
