Must admit, it was funny wasn't it.

It's the first step in the American style 'negative' campaigning that we will see an awful lot of next year.

Basically, if you don't have much to say, then spend all of your efforts rubbishing your opponent.

In the States, they carry five minute adverts doing such things.

Missed it last night but just found it on YouTube. If I didn't know any different I would have thought that it was a Monty Python sketch.

If that is the best that Labour can do then God help us if they ever get back into government.

It was nothing to do with any political views I might have, which to be honest is pretty non existent, but it did appeal to my sense of humour :D

Here is the actual advert http://www.youtube.com/user/theuklabourparty

It reminded me of the Harry Enfield and Paul Whitehouse sketch http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LS37SNYjg8w

Very funny, but really, the Communi.. Labour Party should be ashamed of itself for stooping to character assassination of this sort and try to present some coherent policies that are to the benefit of THIS country.

When it comes to being ashamed of itself the Tories come top of the list with their attacks on the poor and disadvantage while supporting the crooks in suits. :-(

Of recent years, the Conservative Party certainly has much to answer for. I've lost confidence in them and will be voting UKIP next time.

I have in on very good authority, from an impeccable source, that Nige's first action on entering No. 10 will be to half cigarette duty and cancel all taxes on real ale. Now who can't support that!

But David these two activities are not mutually exclusive.

Both activities are a complete waste of time and money.

I was conned by the Lib Dems last time and voted for them so I thought this was brilliant and summed up my feelings towards Clegg brilliantly.

A vote for the Torys is a vote for people with money and no sense,

A vote for Labour is a vote for people with sense but no money,

A vote for the Lib Dems is a vote for people with no money and no sense,

A vote for UKIP is by people with no sense,

A labour voting ex work colleague always used to say, 'taxation and benefits are always fairer under a labour govt, but everyone is better off under a tory govt.'
I think he was probably right.

Ironically the gap between rich and poor got wider under the Labour government.

I don't believe a word any of them says.

Me neither, which is why I'm voting UKIP next time. They haven't a hope in hell of getting in, but the more votes they pick up, the more pressure will be put on the other two parties to realise that their policies are not acceptable to the people they are supposed to be governing.

Having seen Farage on Question Time last night he has gone down in my opinion. It was not that he was not talking sense because someof what he was saying was common sense but what got up my nose was the way in which he wanted to "hog" the programme all the time by talking over everyone.
