Oh dear France

I've just watched the French Rugby Union team being beaten by the Italians.......what an excellent way to spend an afternoon. Go on the Azurri! I bet the Scots are worried.
One day P&O will cruise out of the north.....

What a fabulous weekend of international rugby. Yes, AotH, the result from Rome was great but The Wales/Ireland match was full of incident and England's performance against Scotland was just what we had been hoping for. Only England or Ireland can win the Grand Slam now, which makes next weekend's match in Dublin almost the Championship decider. Terrific!

You are, of course, absolutely right, AotH, and good luck to them.

Haven’t watched any of the rugby but this thread has brought back memories of the first time I played the game. I clearly didn’t understand the rules as I do recall everyone piling in on top of me with one of the opposition telling me to let go of the ball...not bloody likely I thought to myself so I kept holt of it until the Ref blew his whistle.

The moral of this story is to read the rules first.... less of course you enjoy a good kicking  :)

6 weeks of wall to wall rugby.......................yesterday was a bit of a disaster but watch this space, they are just warming up!

However, a great atmosphere in one of the best stadiums in the world! Great day out except that the ticket prices are now extortionate...£1 a minute!

Was on the edge of the sofa at the end - willing Italy to hold on. Great game.

Roll on next weekend.
