what is a 10 bob millionaire?

as it seems a few folk haven't quite grasped the essence of my favourite descriptive, here we are
Someone who drives an old BMW etc and puts a cheap private plate on it to hide it's age
Someone who drives an Audi but lives in a caravan
Someone who wears all the right labels but can't afford to buy a round of drinks
Someone who who spends their money to impress others , rather than paying the bills
Someone who shops till they drop, but puts it all on a credit card and makes the minimum payment
Someone who says they stay in the best hotels etc but never go in the first place
Someone who wear Primani DJ's and think they are posh
and lastly those who think going on cheap discount cruises makes them posh

Just for fun peeps, so don't get all excited

On checking the values reached at recent auctions of somewhere between £50 & £110 for an English 10 shilling note, then your average 10 bob millionaire could be worth around £75 million. Now that's not to be sneezed at!

I'm going to ask if it really matters - if behaving like that makes someone happy, and such behaviour doesn't actually harm anyone - does it really matter?

We call them 'plastic people', and sometimes say that they 'live in cloud cuckoo land'; they can be entertaining, but if people wish to behave like that, I don't care tuppence.

Bye the way, I used to have an uncle who always used to give me pocket money in 10/= notes. When the 10/= note went out of circulation he held on to the last one he had, and left it to me when he died - a last bit of pocket money. I still have it.

People who have to keep telling you how much they paid for everything.
People who dress to impress just to get attention and look down on others.
People who use complex language in everyday conversation to impress others but use it in the wrong context, and always blame their poor spelling on typos.

Nobody on here that I know of who fits that description..................

If Qbob is a millionaire - firstly (even though I know this is lighthearted etc), firstly why should he announce it, and secondly what on earth would the prize be that you would give him?

I wonder though how many millionaires there are on this forum - it's surely none of our business, but it would be interesting .... not that we'd ever really find out.

These days there must be many who are technically millionaires when their houses are taken into consideration. I must admit though that I am worth considerably more dead than alive.

It would make for an interesting poll!! Millionaires on this forum.............hmm!

I suspect there would be a few 'red herrings' cast about, by some.

Seriously though, add up your assets; house, car, jewellery, investments..... even chattels that are not very old may now be quite valuable. You may be surprised at the total.

I have a purchaser in mind for the T shirt

They just love logo wear!!!
