Re: Who presents the greatest threat...............
Being pedantic a Conservative Government was not elected at the last General Election therefore it cannot be re-elected at the next one.

Not meaning to being a stuffy name dropper
But I have had the pleasure of meeting Mr Nigel Farage on his surprisingly "sell out" night at the wonderful art deco restored Wimborne Minster Tivoli theatre
Nigel came over as a slightly rough diamond interesting narrator and swayed his audience to a massive acclamation
Methinks his biggest detractors are his slightly offensive minority of ugly followers
Not too sure but I could give him my vote at the GE, that is if I am still alive and breathing
Just to rattle the cages of our current U-turn plonkers
Have a very peaceful sunny June evening

Neither, it's more likely to be the lack of intelligence of a significant proportion of the UK electorate.Ray Scully wrote:To a Conservative government being reelected... Nigel Farage or Michael Gove![]()

I have asked this before, but where in this country do you get unbiased information about politics?
with which to make an informed and educated opinion
Media manipulation and downright lies do not give anyone a clear message to people, so where do you go?
I don't really think people are that stupid, disinterested, disgusted and downbeat yes, but not stupid

Don't forget because of the first past the post voting system, a party who may have the highest % of the popular vote, may not have a majority of parliamentary seats needed to form the government.
I also don't think people are stupid, they normally decide which way to vote, on how the economy affects them personally, irrespective of how it is portrayed by the media.

After reading that someone rang 999 to complain she hadn't received enough sprinkles on her ice cream, I rest my case about how stupid some people are.Delboy wrote:I also don't think people are stupid, they normally decide which way to vote, on how the economy affects them personally, irrespective of how it is portrayed by the media.

I can’t resist this but “long live the coalition” says Alex Salmond.

surely one person being an eejit, does not encompass the whole of the electorate
there are idiots in every walk of life as your post proves

Before you get too excited John, I think the eejit DK was referring to was she who hadn't received enough sprinkles on her ice cream.
But I suppose after this post you could be included

I await your grovelling apology
please read what I have written not what you wrongly thought I had written
that's said..it does rather prove the point you misguidedly inferred, does it not

Since you repeatedly misread most of my posts it seems only fair that I be allowed the same status with yours.Dark Knight wrote:Towny
