As we have 2 Thomson cruises booked, I doubt qualify for a tee shirt

I don’t know if you aware as to why our dear “Dark Knight” appears to have such a down on people. I surmise that it may simply be to do with his location. Have you noticed where he says that his location is, below his avatar. (East Hull).

The last time I was in Cottingham, we were discussing all the bad publicity Hull was getting at that time. My brother who lives in Cottingham likened East Hull to being a bit like Iraq at times. Probably a lot of 10BM there!!

Actually this brought to mind a t-shirt I had printed for my husband ( just for a bit of fun ) we were on the QE2 cruise following a major refit dubbed the Cruise from Hell, I'm sure many thought it was but it was and still is for us the BEST cruise we have ever been on, the following Xmas I had the t-shirt printed which said .....

I survived the QE2 Refit Xmas 1994

It got lots of comments most of them from people who were also on it and said they wished they had thought of it then went on to say what a super cruise it had been, not sure if the Captain thought that - there is an archived picture somewhere of some woman hitting him on the dockside in the Caribbean .. I kid you not !!

So - whilst you were on the 'cruise from hell' outing, we were in Paris - and the lift in the hotel used to make a very worrying sound. Then there was a slight leak in the bathroom - so we said 'oh, we must be on QE2!'. Your post reminded me of a really funny holiday.

As to what I would like my tee shirt to say - one of two things - either 'I survived' or 'My granddaughter is gorgeous'.

Oh definitely the latter I walked past a couple in Tesco yesterday who were holding a baby t-shirt up, I can't remember the exact words on it but I think it was something like 'I'm just too good looking for my own good' really cute.
