We had been for a pleasant lunch at a village craft centre not far from you. Because my bedroom TV had packed in, we decided to head for that large town quite near you to buy a replacement TV. Because the streets in that town are somewhat confusing I had been on Google Earth the night before to check location and route to Currys (stop laughing)! So we gaily drove on past your aforementioned black cloud and duly arrived at the correct location, only to find a building with a big TO LET sign on the outside! This didn't go down too well with DH. We had no idea where Currys had moved to, so left the dreadful town as fast as possible. I then ordered the TV online from someone else.
Hello Shirley,
Firstly, nice to see you making an appearance after what seems quite a long time...hope you are both keeping well.
This must be a coincidence because we were stood outside the now vacant Curry's on Sunday.
As you will have noticed that dark cloud has been replaced with glorious sunshine today. Btw did you notice my hanging baskets on passing? Not at thier best yet but give it a few weeks and they'll look blooming lovely.
Agree with your view of our town but living in two lovely villages dose have its bennifits. Just to balance things out a little, l do think we have some lovely parks to walk round, and l think you'll agree with me when l say our town highways have been well planted up which gives a very green feeling to our town.
The one thing l do like about our town is the way they deal with repeat offenders...shipping them down to gods own country "down souf" has to be a good move in my book, espesially so as they get to meet most of their relatives.... have you noticed how our criminals show a striking resemblance to Stephen.... dark glasses, bold head etc?
Just to reasure you, no money exchanged hands during my unfortunate encounter with Stephens relatives.
Happy viewing,
Regards
Keith
