Good morning pinchers,

Well l wouldn't go as far to saying l'm feeling as ashamed as Alan but more like a little disappointed with myself, nevertheless, "no gain no pain" as l've weighed in at the same weight as l did last week.....still 2lb to go to reach my target.

Well done Frank, by my reckoning you've lost somewhere in ths region of 4lbs this past couple of weeks

Stay strong pinchers and remember....."Double gins create double chins"

Weighed in today using a tesco shopping bag and some old house bricks....let me explain....as l'm fast approaching my target weight of two stone weight loss l've been wondering what it acctually feels like to lift two stone in weight.....my gawd l can't believe l was lumping that amount of weight around with me :o ...never again!

Well, that is me depressed for the rest of the week - I thought I had been reasonably sensible over the last 12 days but I have put on 4 lbs and now I weigh 144 and 1/2 lbs. Could that have been caused by the extras such as the smoothie every morning along with breakfast and the plate of chips every afternoon from the Neptune Grill - they were freshly cooked and gorgeous. I suppose the cocktail of the day didn't help much either.

Back to rabbit food for a couple of weeks.

Hi Maureen,

No need to be depressed - you've just had a smashing cruise and loads of lovely memories, and now you can start planning for the next one.

Any excuse for a good walk - including walking around shops on rainy days!

I'm holding steady (fingers crossed) at just below where I was, but I wouldn't object to shedding a bit - good excuse for a new outfit for the cruise.

Em

Stick with it, you'll soon be back on track

Little dissapointed with myself as l've weighed in 1 lb shy of my target weight again this week

OH has said he won't be watching the diet programme. What I can't work out is how come he only put 2lbs on and I put 4lbs on but he ate a drank double the quantities as me and he is the one who needs to lose more weight than me. Mind you, I am hoping I have lost at least a lb this morning slogging away in the garden. It was OK 2 weeks ago - it looks like a disaster zone now.

Hi pinchers

As l won't be around for tomorrow's weigh in l thought l better break the bad news today :(

Not a good week with the scales showing a 1 lb gain which probably has somthing to do with the two rounds of cheese on toast and the Melton Mowbray pork pie that l stuffed down my neck mid week...Oh'....and l don't suppose the packet of jelly babies helped either

Hope my pinchers have done better than 'two bellies' keefy

Stay strong pinchers and remember "You must think twice before buying choc ice"

I weighed in this morning and having gained 3lbs after a weekend away I'm pleased to say I had taken that off so a result as such but still leaves me hovering

I feel as if I've burnt a million calories off today washing down my conservatory and all the outside framework and cleaning all the windows .. up and down steps and all that stretching has to be good for you

I was going to give the old Vino a miss but feel as if I've thoroughly earned it today !!

I love the 'Go, You Chicken Fat, Go' advert for the Apple iPhone. However did you know it was the official song from President Kennedy's Council on Physical Fitness, early 60's. This song was used in school exercise programs across the country.

Robert Preston, the singing/dancing star of "The Music Man", was asked to do a song for the schools; Meredith Wilson (composer of "The Music Man") agreed to write the song. They used the same big band as performed for the movie to record the song with Preston. (copied from YouTube).

Here is the original version.

Go, you chicken fat, go!!
