On A Lighter Note

Unread post by Stephen »

Most of you will remember we lost one of our two cats 'Millie' back in February in a road accident.

Well I can announce that as from this morning the Hunt cat household is back up to full strength with the new addition of 'Freddie'. A 11 week 3 day old black short hair male from our local Cats Protection Legue.......who is yet to meet 'Monty' our 3yrs old black and white! Should be interesting.

The two heads of the household have met, all but briefly, and to our surprise there was no drama at all, mind you Freddie was behind bars in his carrier for his own safety while Monty just lounged on his chair looking nonchalantly down thinking 'not worth getting up for'.

Early days though :D

Thank you Em. Let's hope so.
We were glad we got him from the cats protection league as the money supports a good cause as well.

Stephen, looking at your avatar and the mini-moggie, I can imagine you stroking Freddie on your lap and muttering things like "Ah Mr Bond, at last we meet..."

Is world domination your thing?

Is that why you have to have a black puddy too - to stop the glare ?

Yep. Although he might be a de-clawed black puddy soon going by the inside of my left arm. I look like I've been self harming.......bless him :D

He's sleeping at the moment, but you know when he's awake. And if he hears my voice, that's it, the vocal cords kick in. Mind you, I think I've tired him out for a while. He's been following me around the house like a lost sheep and exploring everything.
