I assume you will be going to the onboard gym, to keep the weight off?, on your cruise, it would be a shame to undo all your hard work by pigging out for 17 days but as said previously, it would allow you to stretch this out even longer

well done

Hey talldarkfatone

After what l've put myself through this past six months l'm not looking for more punishment....hence the reason l shall be avoiding the gym like the plague

Oh yes, and thanks for all your humorus motivational words of encouragement this past six months

Hi Pinchers.....

As blood presurure can be influenced by your weight l thought this may be of intrest to some of you who like me aren't quite sure what the blood pressure numbers indicate.

What Does the Systolic Blood Pressure Number Mean?

When your heart beats, it contracts and pushes blood through the arteries to the rest of your body. This force creates pressure on the arteries. This is called systolic blood pressure.

A normal systolic blood pressure is below 120.

A systolic blood pressure of 120 to 139 means you have prehypertension, or borderline high blood pressure. Even people with prehypertension are at a higher risk of developing heart disease.

A systolic blood pressure number of 140 or higher is considered to be hypertension, or high blood pressure.

What Does the Diastolic Blood Pressure Number Mean?

The diastolic blood pressure number or the bottom number indicates the pressure in the arteries when the heart rests between beats.

A normal diastolic blood pressure number is less than 80.

A diastolic blood pressure between 80 and 89 indicates prehypertension.

A diastolic blood pressure number of 90 or higher is considered to be hypertension or high blood pressure.

If in doubt always contact your doctor.

Regards

Keith

I have such lovely neighbours

I've just been chatting to the guy across the road who I haven't seen for a while and he asked me if I'd lost weight, he said 'management' ( I love how he refers to his wife .. take note all you men !! ) had noticed how slim I was looking as I got out of the car last week ha ha obviously they didn't get a side view :D

Of course had it gone the other way and he'd asked if I'd put weight on I'd now be calling him a sarcastic 'old b*gg*r' :o

DQ, I don't think you need to. The compliment from your neighbours says it all.

DQ, You are so right. It goes on much quicker than it comes off.

I am sure Keefy will be dead impressed that you won't let anyone think it doesn't matter for the next 2 weeks.

Stephen, Nothing wrong in that. It is what you have for lunch, dinner and supper and in between snacks that count, plus that one extra drink cos it is hot outside. !!!

I might skip this week's weigh in due to definitely going in the wrong direction. It might have something to do with the Whopper Burger meal at Portsmouth on Wednesday or it could be the plate of fish, chips and mushy peas on Brighton beach yesterday. Then again, wine, sweets, crisps and nuts when we go to our friends house tonight aren't going to help the situation.

Someone has to come out in support of Keefy when he overindulges on his cruise and it looks like it might be me.

Maureen.

Oh dear Maureen. It's going to rain tomorrow so just write off a ad week and start again.

I am hoping for a loss tomorrow but I have been on the wine this afternoon.

Fingers crossed.

Lol Maureen , I had Fish and Chips last night but I've been really good all week, I weighed in this morning and for the second week I haven't moved, I've indulged in a bottle of Red tonight as a reward

You could have lost that by morning Alan, you always weigh less in the morning unless like Stephen you stuff your face with 'bacon sarnies'
