Oh dear Maureen. It's going to rain tomorrow so just write off a ad week and start again.

I am hoping for a loss tomorrow but I have been on the wine this afternoon.

Fingers crossed.
Damn this lovely weather Sue, it's impossible to sit out and not have a nice glass of Vino :o

DQ, I know what I prefer, drink is far more refreshing than the food.

Yes the sun doesn't help with the diet. Wine and strawberries and ice cream last night. Lost 1 lb this week so in the right direction just not quickly enough.

Good luck everyone.

Can we all agree that Pimms ( No1 ) with lemonade ( R Whites ) plus small pieces of strawberry, orange, apple and chopped ice etc will NOT add weight if we put a small sprig of mint in it ?

You could have lost that by morning Alan, you always weigh less in the morning unless like Stephen you stuff your face with 'bacon sarnies'

You're absolutely right, Jo, I'm down to 11-3-6, my lowest weight for many a long year.

Obviously, the moral is to weigh at the same time each day.

Only if you don't swallow the ice as well.

M O B, Well put. That is a meal in a glass. You need the mint for digestive reasons.

Well done Sue and Alan .. Keefy will be proud of you

Shall we all have a guess how much Keefy will have to lose when he gets back to remain his 'super slim self'

I think he'll put about 8lbs on ;)

Thanks Jo, I think it will be more than that as he posts that he puts 4 lb on over a weekend. I'll go for
12 lb.

Oh, I hope not as much as that Sue as he has done so well and it feels awful to undo all that hard work but I can see how easy it is to do if you end up eating rubbish like I have this week. Hopefully, he won't be eating rubbish. The Whopper burger and the fish and chips I had during the week weren't even that nice and I instantly regretted choosing them but I have a distinct lack of will power at times (well most of the time  ).

I will go for 8lbs like Jo.

Well done Sue and Alan on your weight loss.

I have now lost everything that I gained on Adonia, and 2lb more. We have had a great walk in the country today, through lovely trees, with a brook alongside, and seen loads of wildlife.

Decided to weigh in today instead of tomorrow as I usually put on at least a lb on a Saturday night. This morning's weight was 141.8 lbs so settling down a bit, thank goodness. I think I probably overdosed on the Magnums during the extremely hot weather and some days it was just too flippin' hot to walk far but trying to have a bit more self control now that it is cooler.

Good luck, pinchers.

A pound or two is nothing Maureen I am up/down like a yo yo depending on where I've been, what I've eaten, how much I've had to drink

I've taken to stepping on the scales every morning now just to make sure I'm not putting any extra pounds on and if I am I cut down for a couple of days it seems to work

Good luck to everyone ... I wonder how Keefy is doing one week into his cruise, hope he's having a wonderful time and thinking 'sod the diet' :o

Losing weight gives you that feel good factor. There is enough stress in the world without worrying about that pound that has crept back on.

Everyone has been dedicated to reaching their own goal so what if that special meal, extra drink , choccie biscuit or Magnum rocks the boat for a day or two it will soon disappear again.

As DQ says I hope Keefy is having a brill time and and also hope he saying 'sod the diet' .

If this thread was part of the commonwealth games you would all be winners.

Good morning all,

1 1/2 lbs off this week. Only 3 weeks left to next cruise and would really like to have lost another 4 lb by then.

Good luck to everyone weighing in today.

Well done, Sue on this week's loss. You look as if you are on track - 4 lbs in 3 weeks should be do-able if you are really good.
