Costa lecture - I don't believe it!
I just don't understand why the University of Rome had the Captain of the Costa Concordia giving a lecture on 'panic management'! From what I know, he wasn't blasted well there to manage any panic - which was all the result of his vanity.
If he had to give a talk on anything (and I don't think he should be giving a lecture on anything) maybe it could be on the cost of vanity, or maybe cowardice?
I am shocked that any worthwhile organisation would get this man to give a lecture on anything!

the professor who is now under investigation is denying booking him:
"he just strolled in 10 mins before the lecture started and offered to talk..."
didn't he just accidentally fall into a lifeboat?
praps the prof was made in the same mould?

He surely knows much more about panicking than most people do ... therefore he is ideally situated to lecture on it.
His experience in the face of adversity could even be beneficial to other Sea Captains.
