Just for a laugh, I weighted again this morning and am back to a healthier 11-2-4.

Alan - how did you dispose of those extra 2 lbs? I feel a few jokes about laxatives and toilet humour might be forthcoming if Stephen reads this.Silver_Shiney wrote:I had a fright when I weighed myself yesterday - 11-4-6![]()

Re: "Onelife's Pinch an inch diet"
Goodness knows, Maureen. I weighed myself first thing yesterday and was well over 11-5. After breakfast I went back upstairs to, er, sit in the throneroom as it were
, then weighed again to find I was now down to 11-4-6.
I had a bottle of beer during the afternoon and a glass of wine last night, and dinner was a very unhealthy chicken and mushrooms in cream sauce and a couple of small yoghurts, so goodness knows how the weight has fallen off.

hey ho porksters
I have just returned from 12 days and nights of eating like a starving jackal, food and drink aplenty
when I left I weighed a rather svelte 98 kilo's no doubt I have topped the 100 mark
and have had to go back to the 38 inch waist trousers and the XXL shirts

Oops - up a pound on last week. I'm blaming the cheesey tiger bread that we have been scoffing all week. It smells gorgeous and tastes lovely. I will have to learn to stay well away from the bakery section in the supermarket.
Good luck pinchers.

Re: "Onelife's Pinch an inch diet"
Good morning pinchers,
Can't say l' ve been looking forward to this mornings weigh in, even less so having scoffed down an Indian last night. Before l break the bad news just thought l should apologise for not looking after my pinchers very well this past couple of weeks....no excuses other than to say l just couldn't be bothered
Anyhow's......weighed in at 12st 7lbs which is 11lbs above my target weight of 11st 10lbs so feeling pretty disgusted with myself. Well we're not planning any away days in them yonder hills for the next few weeks so after todays Sunday roast l'm going to give it (another) push to see if l can get back on track.
Stay stronger than me pinchers and remember..... 'you must think twice before buying choc ice'
Good luck
Regards

Re: "Onelife's Pinch an inch diet"
Hi all,
Just got back home after a fabulous 3 weeks away on the beautiful Adonia. I have not weighed in so the bad news will wait until tomorrow. I know it is going to be bad because I took my largest pair if jeans with me to wear on the way home and I really struggled to get in them. After a 5 hour journey the first thing I did was to put my onsie on.

Back up to 11-3-2 - but then I've not been well this week so there's been an element of comfort eating.

Dear Keefy nowillpower
how you have the gall to front a diet thread, when you have the breaking point of a KitKat, is beyond me
you should be leading by example, porkster, not stuffing your gob all day, everyday
this is a classic case of do as I say, not do as I do
your disappointed, strong willed friend

Excuse me - I thought you had tonsillitis - surely that should have limited your food intake? (Or was it that bottle of medicinal brandy?)

Hey vapourpuffer
Nothing like kicking a 'pig' when he's down
.....anyhow's l'll take comfort from the fact that l'm still 3 stone lighter than you
As for willpower....well thats like calling the kettle black seeing that you're still using battery operated toys to curb your nicotine dependency
Keep huffing puffing my friend

I was reliably informed that eating chocolate helps - as it melts, it lines the throat. Certainly seemed to help when swallowing was difficult. Never made it to the brandy, unfortunately. The Tinker wrote:Silver_Shiney wrote:Back up to 11-3-2 - but then I've not been well this week so there's been an element of comfort eating.

1st weigh in in 3 weeks and have lost 1lb despite not being at work for 2 weeks.
No cruise so at least I didn't put on the usual 9/10lb.

Our house has a lovely smell of chocolate chip and cherry cake, and lemon cream fairy cakes made a couple of hours ago for tomorrows bridge drive for Mission to Seafarers. Now Sue is talking about another batch "just in case". Good bye diet...again! We were out for a meal with friends again last night as well.
I am struggling to stay trim.

That's good RB especially if you have been off work for two weeks, look on the bright side that's 10lbs you don't have to lose by not being on a cruise
Frank, my mouth is fair watering at the sound of those cakes, I could eat cake all day every day but I don't
