I'm here too but been very busy same as many on here. We looked at a cruise in November but decided we needed to
do something else. Up to now we have been to Manchester and Harrogate. We have a visit to Lytham next week, The Grand Hotel,
anyone been?

We have a week in Ambleside so loads of walking, back to Manchester and then off to Morecambe - interested in anyone's views about
Morecambe, booked in The Midland Hotel, looks a lovely art deco hotel.

Although I am away, I do check in and see whats happnening, just read Suekersh's Adonia report, what a cracker.

And the highlight of October is meeting up with Mr and Mrs Old Blue Fox :D - looking forward to it :D
I was going to suggest the walk across Morecambe Bay which is quite an experience ( we have done it several times for Charity ) but it appears the last one of the year is October 4th. If you ever get the chance to do it do because it really is an experience not to be missed.

Lucky you meeting up with with Mr and Mrs Foxy .. have a lovely time :D

A wayzgoose was at one time an entertainment given by a master printer to his workmen each year on or about St Bartholomew's Day (24 August). It marked the traditional end of summer and the start of the season of working by candlelight. Later, the word came to refer to an annual outing and dinner for the staff of a printing works or the printers on a newspaper.

We are here in spirit as at present on the Island Princess sailing between Vancouver and San Francisco and heading for the Panama Canal. Spent 3 good days in Vancouver before boarding on Wednesday, it is a lovely city with lots going on and spectacular scenery. Our first port of call was Victoria which was very English and a nice stop as we saw some seals as we sailed out. Looking forward to S.F tomorrow, not sure where our next stop will be as a hurricane has wiped out Cabo San Lucas and according to a lady we spoke to it is now stopping somewhere else. Enjoying the cruise so far, we are losing lots of passengers tomorrow as its a repositioning cruise (we didn't know this when we booked) as they have done a 3 night taster cruise for $199! Thought I would post this to use up some of our free internet time as we are getting a double lot as it is in effect a back to back! Time for a quiz which is not geared up for us but we give it a go!

Thanks to Polo, the 11month old kitten we adopted from our son and family, after Polos brother was killed by a car, I am here again at 7am in the morning, he loves waking you up by running up and down stairs across the bed and on the windowsill then back again... Mad cat!!

I'm here too, just - using up my last few minutes on board Adonia, lovely smooth passage compared to rather bumpy yesterday. Sun shining, just had lunch on balcony, cases outside the door - Southampton in the morning. Love the ship, don't want to leave.
