Loving my life....

Unread post by JenniC »

... I have a job I love and even though I could retire, I do not want to and the company do not want me too.. I am lucky enough to work from home 4 days a week, going to the office just to say hello the other day. I am now off for a week, and two of those days, my boss told me to take as extra for all the hard work I have done this summer. Also means I can keep on booking cruises.

I have a wonderful, loving family and some great friends, some I have known for a while and some I know virtually on here and some I have met recently due to a common love of cruising, such as dear Jan Rosser, whom I am lucky enough to be seeing again in January on Azura and then Christmas and New Year 2015 on Britannia. I am healthy (touch wood) and have a great husband, who is my soul mate.

Life does not get much better, it's Friday, nice relaxing day ahead tomorrow, packing on Sunday, out with son and grandchildren for diner on Sunday evening. Down to Southampton for the day on Monday, staying at Premier Inn West Quay, before two nights on Oriana Tue/Wed and daughter and son in law have just booked it this week as well. Then back home and out for dinner on Thursday..... Happy days....

Best wishes to everyone and hope you are blessed with as much love and happiness as I am....

Hi Lovely Jenni

Great post, so pleased for you

I could easily have replicated your happy missive just a few months back

However I spend my days replaying "the good ole days" of yesteryear with a nod and a wink and the odd tear

Lubooo lots

What a lovely post Jenni - I am really happy for you after all life is what you make of it and you have achieved happiness through working hard and being a loving wife, mother and friend. I am so glad we met up and I'm now counting down the weeks to our holiday in January - bring it on

Hope you have a lovely cruise next week on Oriana.

. . . . and another lubberly lady to make my evening

But

"cant wait" is no longer in my rural Darzet Dictionary

as waiting is sometimes better than journey for us octogenarians

With a wink, nod and a smile

Jenny that is a lovely positive post. I also feel very blessed with my family and life in general. Sometimes I know I take it for granted so reading your post and the responses from Jan and Graham makes me realise how lucky I am.

I hope you have a great cruise on Oriana with you family.

Sue x

Ok you lot, get a room.

And there is the good lady and me having to suffer the East Devon weather this afternoon sitting outside in shorts and a T shirt having a BBQ and drinking wine. Think yourselves lucky your not having to make the best of it like us
