Christening

Unread post by Boris+ »

Well we had our christening - celebrations started on Saturday and ended Sunday evening. The weather was as kind as it could be at the moment, we all stayed dry - and the little one herself giggled and gurgled through it all.

We brought together people from far and wide, old friends and new - and today we're just left with flowers, photos and lovely memories.

Hi Gill,

It was perfect - and now it's time to sort out all the photos etc. We had a wonderful weekend of it, and it's lovely now just to sit back and relax.

Think I need a cruise after all that!

Before you know it, it will be Confirmation classes. They grow up so quickly, but every step of the journey can be a delight for grandparents.

I think we're sort of concentrating on the first tooth and crawling (instead of getting from A to B by rolling and wriggling)!

Mind you, she blows a very good raspberry!

At the time it was incredibly funny - she took one look at the vicar, blew a raspberry and managed to rearrange her bonnet so that her face was covered! I don't know how she did that, but at the time it caused a little gale of laughter.

As promised (it seems like ages ago now) I've managed to put a couple of photos up.

Hope they are ok.

Hi Anne,

She's as gorgeous as any other little one - well we think so. Bye the way - the cake was lemony scrumptious, shame it's all gone!
