Jack, I don't think yours is a problem as it is. The LH box which contains it hasn't been expanded to accommodate it, so I guess it is ok.

My Avatar seems slightly larger than others although I have it at Maz 250 mp allowed.
For reference, mine is now only 160x155!
I have seen two comments re max size one said 250 , however that appears too large, the other said 200, that is the size I now use and that's fits in ok.

Loving this forum already. You should give P&O some tips about theirs! This is really easy to use and looks so good. Keep up the good work!

Re: Just a few Points
It now appears max Avatar size has been set to 120 x 120, well thats what it said when I tried to post an Avatar 200 x 200, which was too big.Delboy wrote:RomigRomig1 wrote:Delboy, I found that when I resized mine to the max allowable (250x250) it still looked a bit larger than some others, so shrunk it further.Delboy wrote:David

Re: Just a few Points
At last!!!! It has taken me two days but I have now got the Avatar on. It is not the pic I wanted, but was second best. I wanted to put me on not a towel!!
I used the "shrink" pictures web site. Trouble was,I could reduce the pic, but could not find a way to move it to the forum. In the end I clicked on the Download and moved it into the the "Browse" space. was this right? it did work whether it was right or not. Jay

Jay,
When you click on "Browse" your computer will select a location from which it thinks you wish to choose from. This is often "Your Pictures", but you cn navigate to "Your Downloads" if that's where the photo is.
Alternatively, you could move the picture from Downloads into Your Pictures first.

Has PATRICIA from Scotland had any joy yet with sorting out resizing her avatar? Doesn't appear so.
PATRICIA - have you tried Delboy's shrink-a-pic link?

Philip,
Go to the User Control Panel (cog), Settings, Profile, then Edit avatar.
Thereafter there's some useful information here:
