Did anyone watch The Apprentice? It was unmitigated rubbish, wasn't it?

Nope, start next week now that (I think) the brilliant Scott and Bailey has finished.

Have they removed the major irritants yet?

Well, that depends on your point of view. They all seem pretty irritating to me. I will give them one more go, and if it is no better next week, that will be it!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just wonder where they get these people from. They talk the talk and walk the walk but do not know anything about business at all.

No, Alan Sugar is still there.

I haven't watched this programme for years. I don't know about "would I employ any of these people", I wouldn't want to work FOR them.

They must all spend the whole day preening themselves.

20 contenders, could easily have fired 17 on the first showing but that would have meant only two episodes for Auntie BeeB, I just have to watch it if only to see that occasional ' look ' on Sir Alan Sugar's face

Accepting that it is primarily a line-up for TV entertainment then it isn't actually too bad when compared with the even greater tosh that is generally transmitted at the same time of the evening.

But having said that, consider ... " How well would most of us do when facing the same tasks " ? :?
Keep smiling, it's good for your well being

I'm afraid we dont watch it (Cant stand Lord Sugar), or Master Chef (Cant stand Greg Wallace or John Torode).

Ne meither. I can't stand elimination programmes with their false suspense moment where the camera dawdles along the faces of the terrified participants.
