I do consider my OH.. in my house

.......I always give him notice ( put it in the planner) when I want the decs down out of the loft..as there are two staircases to go up...
I always make sure that we borrow next doors long ladder for the weekend...
Always make sure I have lots of drawing pins....
Then I make sure his Santa hat and undies are ready for him to wear. ( family tradition)
Christmas tunes ready to play...and fizzy stuff cooling for when he is finished(2-3 days later)
I don't do "just enough"....it's totally OTT!!!
Very very Christmassy..the grandchildren love it!!!
Kids don't do enough either....lolol
