I think the right person was voted off Strictly last night.

Zoe Ball filling in for Claudia did a great job

I agree Anne, although I prefer Claudia's quick wit.

Just got to get rid of the ironing board now ;)

A while ago, Jan Moir described the Murray boys' mater as dancing like (I think) a terrified ironing board.

Yes Poor Scott had to go, even he thought that. Now, lets get rid of flat footed Alison (to quote someone else) and Judy the Ironing board and we can start the competition. But it was ever thus.

Hope Caudia's little one is soon better. Tonight ITT sent good wishes to the family so obviously not just an upset tummy.

I love Craig.

Right .I remember now. Poor Judy.

She isn't very good but comes over as a really nice person with a sense of humour. Will probably be out within the next fortnight. Anton is great with her but a shame he never gets a winning partner.

We were surprised that in the dance off, it was Scott who went, bcause we thought he was much better than Alison, who doesn't actually dance ( as with; use her feet to dance). We have no idea why they are over marking her, she seems to us, to be nothing more than a solid platform for a lot of 'look at me' noise.

It is fantastic entertainment though, and the pro dancers are brilliant.

I agree Frank.

I also think the band and singers are first class.

Yes Stephen. I notice that Lance has been missing from the singers for a few weeks. He accompanied a tour by Anton and Erin, which we saw, and has a fabulous voice.

Jo Clifton's choreography for Scott was brilliant. Very entertaining.

She should have gone weeks ago.

I couldn't believe what I was hearing when they announced she had gone through.

Yes, I appreciate it's votes that count, but come on, a blind chimp could tell she can't dance to save her life. Has the country gone completely mad, or are they now just taking the p*ss when they vote mainly to keep Anton in the competition.

It makes a mockery for those that do vote sensibly. And I wouldn't blame them if they demanded their money back.

Entertaining yes, but don't call it a dance competition BBC.

As for Darcey...............Phwoooooor, did she look hot last night or what

Come on Stephen, you're not that daft. You know the competition has a history of one legged donkeys getting voted through.

But you also know that she won't get to the final few. Inevitably the real dance fans eventually get sufficiently wound up to actually make the phone call to ensure the final is the best dancers.

Alison, who was voted off last night, wasn't exactly Ginger Rogers! And in fairness none of those voted off so far was ever going to be in the last three or four so it doesn't really matter what order they get their marching orders.

If it really was a dance competition, rather than an entertainment show, people like Judy Murray, Greg Wallace, Tim Wannacott etc. would never be in it. We'd have a line up of really nifty movers never putting a foot wrong and it would be as boring as watching paint dry!

p.s. And Darcey .... yes you're right on that.

Fair comments, although if it is only an entertainment show then they might as well all come out and do as they please instead of learning routines all week.

It does seem unfair that a one legged ironing board gets put through to the highlight of the show (Blackpool Tower) over someone who of course wouldn't win, but CAN actually move.

The only real winners are BT.

Well listen guys; We confess; this week for the first time, we did vote for Judy. It was tactical, because we know she will go soon, but we alo knew that Alison was being over marked, and going to take a lot of shifting and that if she and Judy were in the bottom two, Judy would go, and Alison would stay. So we said lets try to get Alison in the bottom two with a decent dancer. Hey it worked. Judy will be out next week, we can almost guarantee. (I was a bit worried that it was going to be Caroline versus Jake in the dance off.)

We didn't mind Craig giving Frankie a seven, but to call her dance 'flat' was bordering on plain stupidity. What ever it was, it wasn't flat. We like Claudia, but we really are enjoying Zoe Ball' contribution.

As for Darcy, she has got a beautiful pair of pins, but then I am spoiled, because so has Sue. Its just that (Darcy's 4" taller and 25 years younger than Sue ;) ) Sue doesn't wear short skirts these days.

Great show! Whatever the jealous media say.

Yes lets hope the real competition starts soon.

Surely Judy will be off next week otherwise the really good dancers will be out before they should be.

It's about time that plank of wood Anton's carrying about was voted off.

She gives me hope!!!
Social media are blaming the Scots voting for her after their failed independence vote but perhaps it's the English keeping her in and making her suffer for her nationalist views. Anton must be running out of ideas.

I have it on good authority from 'a friend' (Onelife if you must know) that you're quite a mover yourself Stephen!!!
