One less character in the show now. Wasn't Burly Chassis dreadful? You have to know when to stop singing.

We also noticed that Darcy's hem line was a bit more decent this week.

Yes, and way too long ;)
Naughty boy Stephen!! I bet you have been laying on the floor when she does 'Lens Lens'.

Never thought of that Frank. I might try it next week......with magnifying glass :D

During Len's lens this evening I kept saying "Get up off the floor OBF". Sue couldn't understand why. The hem line was back to short again this week.

We thought Steve had to go, but it will be Sunetra's turn next week. We still think Pixie and Frankie in the final with Jake or Caroline. It might still be Simon though, he is getting better and better.

Great show again.

Not short enough for my liking ;)

Has anyone else noticed that when they do 'Lens Lens' Darcey always sides up to Len. If she got any closer she'd be on his lap.........lucky s*d. Perhaps she likes the older man, so there is hope for me yet.........although I suspect very little :D

And what did we ladies get on Saturday? A tone-deaf garden gnome, alleged to be Barry Manilow.

We have had Dame Shirley, B Manilow, (Louis A), good Lord what will be get next week? Sinatra resurrected?
Why doesn't the Dave Arch Orchestra/Singers do the Sunday night spot, far better than the recent offers.

Garden gnome? What an excellent description.

Lance Ellington is one of the regulars with Dave Arch, and he accompanies Anton and Erins Dance tours. We went to see them a couple of years ago and Lance was brilliant. They could wheel him out front any time they like. We thought that Manly Baritone had had a lot of nips and tucks to look like that.

Darcy definitely has a flirty look about her, but not to my taste. I lost my heart many years ago to poor Jill Dando, not even Aliona could make up for that.

I think since Brucie was pensioned off they're looking to the "star" singers to represent the older generation. Blimey. Barry's face was stiffer than Judy's waltz!

The BBC must be feeling the pinch if they're having to dig up the likes if Larry Ballimow

Madame Tussauds are probably doing an inventory as we speak.

Frank

Jill Dando, oh yes, she was lovely. Such a shame.

Dave Arch and singers were on "It takes Two" promoting his CD. They did a little turn and it sounded just as good as you would expect. I will be buying it.

I think we will buy the Dave Arch CD,

Did you notice that Steve's reaction with Ola made Zoe Ball cry with emotion? He really is a genuine bloke, not like some 'celebrities'. Who in heaven's name is Kardashian or any of the other strumpets who appear on the Daily Mail gossip pages. A bunch of know nothing third or fourth raters I suggest, famous for taking various garments off to court publicity.

I don't think the back room boys and girls get enough recognition. The outfits and dresses they turn out are stunning.

Another great show yesterday and Saturday evening. No surprise that Sunetra went though. Mark, Jake, or Frankie next week?

well if you discount:
Jake bumping into another dancer
the "star guest " slot was a pre record done ages ago, as Alfie Boe was on tour
the dreadful choice of costumes and music
Tess's dire auto cue reading and Claudia's inane ramblings
and pixies smug ,self absorbed preening

apart from that yes a wonderful show :sarcasm:

If you saw the slow mo on Len's Lense of the crash between Jake and the other dancers it showed it was actually a single accompanying female dancer that crashed into Jake.
I thought the costumes and the orchestra were wonderful. If anything Alfie Boe spoilt it for me.

I see Darcey was almost lap dancing with Len again on Len's Lense. I'm sure their at it................dancing ;)

I watched SCD and thought it was really good. I wasn't struck with Alfie Boe either, would much have preferred André Rieu accompanying the dancers (lovely Natalie!) without him. It was a female dancer who bumped into Jake. Considering it is all about the contestants it should not have happened considering she was a professional dancer but these things happen. Jake's dance was odd. How can you blend Greek themes into an Argentine tango? It was neither nowt nor summat!!!

I thought some of the costumes were lovely, especially Pixie's dress and Kristina looked great. Anybody spot Aliona and Joanne supporting Mark's salsa - very distracting!!!

It's all getting very close now.
