Somebody obviously didn't want theirs, as one has just appeared on ebay for £2.99 (actually the vendor has TWO for sale)

Why not just give them to someone who can make use of them. Obviously the people who were sent the diaries must be saving up for their next cruise and need every penny for that and I hasten to add it isn't us.

Some people are never satisfied. As one who is getting a 'gift' for the first time I appreciate it. Much better than getting nothing.

Quite right Foxy !!

I never made use of the Calendar as I buy a slim one which hangs on the inside of one of my kitchen unit doors and the P&O one was too wide but I always found a good home for it ( and not via ebay  ) as far as I can remember last years was a slim one but I'd already bought mine so I still found a good home for it.

Our diaries haven't arrived (yet) but we do still have 'Wells Fargo' around here   I've already bought 2015 diaries so a friend of ours who hasn't yet qualified for the gift will be delighted when I pass them on.

You would have thought that one page would be a world map..................no, the only map is of the London underground, OR, did they miss out that page on ours?

I wonder how many people look at underground maps, world maps, conversion charts, international information etc in their calendars anyway. I use mine mainly for 'jottings and scribblings' and for meetings and birthdays etc. Oh, and those dates I am away on a cruise or holiday!!

Like you need to remember when you are cruising ;) They're the only dates I remember. :)

I remember when I am cruising Dai, but unless it is written down I have a tendency to double book which can prove embarrassing (and not very popular with SWMBO) when I have to un-book.

Hi Jay and Jo

I thought it was me who has the 'mental' problem at the moment!! Wasn't it 2010?

Apologies if I'm wrong. Whatever, it was the start of two wonderful friendships.

Yes. I think you are right it was 2010. According to my records(!!!!!) we did Christmas in the Caribbean on Aurora.

After that we did the infamous "Alaska Cruise" on Arcadia in May 2011 and then Christmas in the Canaries in December 2011. That was the last time with P & O for us.

You are right Jean it was 2010 .. I had already booked Christmas 2011 on QM2 to the Caribbean and of course that was the Xmas that never happened when Keith decided to break his ankle 2 days before we should have sailed .. how could I have got that date wrong

Very true though it was the start of wonderful friendships.

I think that sending out diaries to people is a lovely idea, but we don't use diaries as such any more (we use our phones etc).

I wonder if P&O will think of a replacement for sending out diaries - and what might that be?

Agree Sue, we received our first gift last year (calendar) but unfortunately I had already bought one. Held off this year and guess what a very nice diary but would have preferred a calendar!

I'm still holding off buying a calendar in the hope that we'll get one as well as the diary.

If not I'll have to buy a calendar in the sales after Christmas
