I hope it is Caroline now.
I am sure this show is fixed.

I didn't think any of them particularly stood out last night. Yes, Caroline's Tango was OK, but I thought it lacked sharpness. But as world tiddlywinks champion what do I know

Re: 2014 Strictly come Dancing
Maybe not fixed but there are Judges favourites however they dance. Even before the Waltz -a-thon we said Pixie to receive top place, even though her dancing earlier was rubbish.

Pixie gone!! I thought it would be Frankie. Roll on next week.
(Don't really understand Len's "casting vote". He might as well have been the only one to vote.)

Re: 2014 Strictly come Dancing
Yes that was a big surprise, (except that I knew from the 'spoiler' page). It is wide open now, anyone of those remaining could win. I really thought Pixie would be in the final.

It's simple really. He votes like everyone else. In this case he voted for Simon to stay, making it 2-2. He then gets a casting vote, which one assumes he gives to the same person as his first vote, so they don't need to ask him.jay-ell71 wrote:(Don't really understand Len's "casting vote". Had the other three all voted for Pixie to stay Len's vote would have made it 3-1 and he wouldn't have got his casting vote.
Shame Pixie went though. I thought she was better than Simon.

Yes she was a good dancer, but talking through her permanently fixed grin was starting to annoy me.

Re: 2014 Strictly come Dancing
Personally I wasn't keen on Pixie, so I'm quite pleased she's gone.
I didn't think Simon would stand a chance in that dance off against Pixie, so it was a genuine surprise that he got through.
I would like to see Kevin and Frankie win, although I have a lot of respect for Mark Wright to have got this far, from a non show biz background

I agree that he's done incredibly well Gill, but a shame to see Mark staying in while better dancers go out. I'm pleased for him, but I hope he doesn't make the final at the cost of someone so much better.Gill W wrote:Personally I wasn't keen on Pixie, so I'm quite pleased she's gone.

Re: 2014 Strictly come Dancing
I think Caroline will win, like Abby Clancy last year she has improved at just the right time, but the public vote normally favours the men, although I can't really see a winner in the three that are left.

Mark ,like Simon and Jake, as far as I know, have no previous dance experience. Let's hear it for the real contestants who have come such a long way and have improved SO much.
Very glad to see the back of the much hyped Pixie Lott. Well done Len in voting for the best of the dance off contestants. Hope the other 'professional, so called amateurs' go the same way as perfect Pixie in the semi finals.

Oh my goodness. How dreadful for her and James, and for the dancing world. Trouble is snow sports are dangerous. My OH was horrified, she is such a favourite with all the gentlemen isn't she? We both wish her well.

Poor Ola, let's hope she's ok and (hopefully fully) recovered soon.
