We made our number ex-directory but we also had to ask for CLID to be cancelled.

I've just received an unusual phishing email - not had this approach before!

A mate of mine was caught out by a money scam.

He saw an ATM with a sign saying "Free Money Withdrawals" so he put in his card and withdrew £200.

The £200 was still debited to his account though. What a swizz!

You'd rather it was debited from your account instead? :sarcasm:

The ' ar ' suffix seems to place it in the Argentine ... that's unusual ?

Thankfully, I avoided that one. I was drafted in to help stacking aluminium wedges which would be used to make a temporary runway at Stanley for the Harriers to use. These were flown out from Scampton and loaded onto the Atlantic Conveyor. So that was a waste of an evening...

I then had to create the Accounts department for the new airfield at the end of the conflict (had to collate and load everything into a large container ) and volunteered to go down to set it up but they weren't looking for volunteers at that stage. Then I found out what conditions were like down there and was really glad not to have gone. I lived the rest of my career in dread of being drafted but, mercifully, it never came.

I've had three identical emails in the last couple of days from the same "lady" offering 10% to help "her" move umpteen millions. I pointed out that as "her" fellow criminals are offering 30-40%, "she" needs to be more competitive.
