Can't say I'm surprised. After the disgraceful incident with McArthur on Saturday, some strange team selections and disappointing results against teams we could and should have beaten the writing was on the wall.
And now I wonder who we will get next?

Sulking RB? Join the club. I'm getting an expert.

What a night! It's looking like Sky Sports News got it wrong and he has not been sacked!
It's not April 1st is it?

Pearson's a THUG .... OUT _ OUT _ OUT

Who would even want the job for goodness sakes, doomed it seems for relegation ( see you next year  ) and the transfer deadline has passed etc etc.

Just in case however ... As the great white Fox himself said a few posts back ... " Stuart Pearce is available! "

You should have seen some of the offerings on SkyBet. Next manager - Kevin Keegan? Dennis Wise? Glenn Hoddle? FGS where do some of these people dream these things up?
Don't be at all surprised tomorrow night if we don't sneak a crafty winning goal in the 93rd minute to win at RB1961's place. :lolno:

What's all this about 'see you next year' Mob? Are you not going for promotion then? That being the case you could have sold us Troy Deeney at some extortionate price (although with the service our midfield are providing he'd stand as much chance of scoring as the goalkeeper).

Troy Deeney is available, to you Foxes, at £60,000,000, a genuine bargain when you think about it.

ps ... he would probably prefer Wigan or Burnley where there are ' stable ' ex Watford managers in situ.

pps ... if you stay up we will join you, if you are relegated then we will be here to help you adjust to more on-going defeats.

ppps ... good luck tomorrow night, we will deffo need some ' luck ' as well

I don't think you need to be too concerned RB.
Big match for you Mob. Brentford have done well since they came up. Good luck.

It's six pointer and a draw would seem a likely outcome but their open style could expose them to Watford's biggest asset ... the Pukka pies at half time

Good luck everybody ( bar the Bees )

Gave a goal away with some disastrous defending and squandered a shed load of chances. Well done to your lot RB but am disappointed after our second half display we didn't do better. To make matters worse I see Hull and QPR won so we are deeper in the mire. :(
On a more positive note our new chap Kramaric scored his first goal and it was good to see Huth shoring up the back and covering Captain Calamity's mistakes!!!
However I see Watford won so happy days eh Mob? A good win for you.

Well, who'd have thought it at Christmas

We've gone from relegation fodder to four points from the playoffs in six weeks.

4 wins and 2 draws in the last 6 games.

We could be playing the Foxes next season. Who knows?

Would love for little Gillingham to be sitting at the top table of the Championship with you guys.

A great turn-around for your team Barney!

Last night Town lost at home 4-1 to Wolverhampton. We were below par, but the scoreline doesn't do justice to the game...Town had 31 shots opposed to Wolves' 13, and 13 on target vs 6! Indeed, Wolves were 2 up early in the second half, having had only ONE shot on target ( their second being an own-goal). That said, their counter-attacking style and solid defence were impressive, and perfect against our once again generous defending.

Town's last 8 matches have resulted in 4 wins and 4 losses, in the format of WLWLWLWL...I guess there is a sort of consistency in that? :lolno:

Does this mean we can expect a win down at Bournemouth on Saturday? Might just have to have a little flutter - the odds are sure to be decent

The Hornets clawed back 2 points on Bournemouth plus Derby and 3 on Brentford so a good nights work bar Deeney's missed penalty.

We went to chums and watched the games unravel, inc Watfords very open end to end game at Brentford, on SKY followed by the Gunners vs Foxes game. I thought the Foxes gave the Gunners plenty to think about and imo deserved a draw.

Nope, just the first goal was against the run of play after we gifted possession badly, followed by an own goal. The third was a proper break-away when we were pushing for a reply, and the fourth...well I dunno cos I'd gone by then...i heard the away fans celebrate as I got in the car!

Wolves' finishing was of a much higher standard than ours...as the stats would indicate.

What a result for Huddersfield against the Cherries .... many thanks from us Hornets as we clawed back another two points from their Top Spot

Well done Barney too, a great result for the Gills

Also ... watch the ' League Show ' for the best game the commentator had ever seen ( he needs to get out more ), yes you guessed it, Bolton vs Watford

A late winner for Watford. The top five are all looking over their shoulders, there's a fox in the chicken run.

There used to be a Raul Fox played for Norwich once. Does that count?

Great match last night Mob. It could have gone either way and was a pleasure to watch. Congratulations to both teams.

How come Troy Deeney only came off the bench? Injured? Loss of form? We're not paying top dollar for subs y'know!!!

I think that I've been going to the wrong ground for the last few weeks.

This is not the Gills that I love (to moan about) ;)

We only need another 9 points for safety, then we can start looking up

Dear Mr Pearson
Please can you tell your players to pass the ball to any others wearing the same colour shirt as themselves until they get sight of a big net thing. Then you can hoof it or head it into the net.
Anybody else in a different shirt is not on our side, especially the bossy one with the whistle.
I think it might help our current situation.

Or ...

Dear Mr Pearson,

Oh dear, Oh dear, Oh dear.

The match that I viewed during Sunday lunchtime and beyond was a sad reflection of even the Conference League, please ask tell your players that they were the only team this season to make Villa's ' side to side then back again ' style of footy look threatening.

To assist in this matter I would recommend compulsory viewing of the recent Bolton vs Watford game to discover what an exciting version of the beautiful game should look like .... and especially one in the FA Cup.

Regards HornetMod

I cannot believe that was the same team which played so well against Arsenal only five days earlier. We made Villa look better than they were.
Not a happy bunny after that performance. Our local pub team would have given them a run for their money.

Robbed of two points by a muppet of a referee.

90 + 4 minutes again

If that was a penalty, then I'm a Chinaman

And so's my brother Chang Wang Chon

Foxes must fell very hard done by. That was tough.

Our Muppet ref fell into our dastardly Hornet type trap and also awarded a non penalty for the Canaries's first goal, the plan was then to let them win ( but not 3:0 ) to help them get auto promotion so that we don't have to play them in the play-offs ... worked a treat
