That's the trouble with crystal sets Foxy, you just can't rely on them.

Now give your glasses a good clean and take a gander below. Copied direct from the Quest web site TV listings  ;)

I watched it via Freeview, other stations may vary their scheduling.

MIGHTY CRUISE SHIPS
19. February, Episode 1
Ask anyone in the cruise line industry which ship is the best choice for sailing around the South Pacific and they’ll tell you it’s the Paul Gauguin. Get inside this behemoth.

I'm not going be drawn into questions regarding any possible future political aspirations I may or may not have just before a general election :silent:

Good idea Stephen, you could be one of the first to be rounded up if the wrong party wins.

It is on Freeview as well. I shall record the series this time. Thanks Stephen.

Caught the Paul Gauguin ship program last night, so now I have seen them all. Beautiful islands but unfortunately much to far away to contemplate.

A rather older vessel than I expected and not quite so luxury either. You don't see fish like that brought on to cruise ships in Southampton do you? We liked the fact that the Captain and Engineering Officer got into their scuba gear and did the inspection of the hull themselves. Marvellous.

Sorry to be a cynic Jay, but some of these things are stage managed for good publicity. She is quite small, but it was a very interesting programme, and it looked to be a fabulous cruise itinerary. Nassau registered and not a British officer in sight. I wonder how long those boats on the foredeck would remain there in anything of a sea.

BTW Frank, you and I may be related! Your surname is the same as my maiden name. Perhaps the Captain and Officer were just having a jolly under the sea?

Maybe Jay! I could do with some girl relatives. My family are over populated with males.

If you ever see the Captain carrying my bags, it will probably because he is seeing me off!! :-)

Yes Frank, we did think that that little scenario was a tad far fetched.!
