Paddy's Day

Unread post by Dancing Queen »

Does anyone do to anything to celebrate this ??

For the last 10 years or so my OH has gone over to Ireland with a group of friends to celebrate taking an early flight out of East Midlands and returning on the last one of the day.

Of course it is just a good excuse for a ‘booze up’ but last year they decided to make it a four day trip and enjoyed it so much that this year they have extended it to a week, now I don’t have a problem with this but I’m thinking next year ‘we girlies’ should be thinking about booking a week in the sun ... seems only fair

What's wrong with you doing a ' girlie trip ' to the Temple Bar district in Dublin ?
Keep smiling, it's good for your well being

It's been suggested a few times that the 'girlies' could go with them and us do our thing and them theirs .. unfortunately it went down like a ton of bricks

I would have thought you ladies would be too busy washing and cleaning to have any time for such frivolous activities

Hi Jo,

I think St Patricks day would pass me by without the blink of an eye if it wasn't for the fact that it falls around the time of the greatest show on earth....which is of course Cheltenham.

I think the idea of a girlies break in the sun is a great idea and if they are willing to chip in a little l would be prepared to come along as there chaporone.

Let me know.....I'm available anytime apart from Cheltenham week  :D

Regards

Keith
