Re: Jury Service
Special thanks Bobbie and Keith. You're right Bobbie, I always have to book end of row seats.
I have tried Buscopan Keith - I find it's good for the pain.

Phew - got the letter today, telling me I have been excused Jury Service. I can relax again now.

Re: Jury Service
That's good news Gill I thought you would be excused but I don't think its out of compassion that they dismissed you but more towards lessening their risks. They certainly did not show me any compassion as I have already stated in my earlier post, all they are concerned with is getting the backlog of cases through the court without too much disruption.
I bet you have to be careful in your selection of shore excursions like I do, its no good me booking a trip that includes a meal because I can't be sure what the ingredients are and to have a slip up while out on a coach or minibus could be quite traumatic.

Absolutely, Ray - though firtunately we're big on lots of excusions, preferring to do our own thing. But I have to go later in the day if at all possible and always try to avoid eating much when out "just in case".

Re: Jury Service
Apart from intestinal problems similar to IBS I also sleep at the drop of a hat. There is no way I could stay awake so hopefully i will not be called. Actually i was called nearly 40 years ago but no sleep problem then.
