Rather disappointed with the result tonight. We gave Man City most of the possession with our 9-1 formation but were denied a definite penalty and hit the post so a point would not have been unreasonable. However it's clear they have some very classy players although they were made to look better than they were by our giving the ball away too easily.
Never mind, hopefully we can give Hull a good tanking on our soil in 10 days time!!!!
I see Wigan did Watford a good turn tonight!!
Things look tough for you lot up the A46 after tonight and the tricky trees didn't fare any better at Charlton it looks like you will be making a visit to the City Ground next season blue fox.

It's certainly looking that way Raybo and apart from the fact I can usually get a stream for the match I won't be overly disappointed. I think the Championship is a much more exciting place to be unless you have the resources to keep up with the big boys. Well done to some of the smaller fish such as Southampton who have made an impact and have done much to bring players on from their Academies.
Over the years we have had some great matches against the trees, but will the sheep be bleating come the end of the season!!

Much as I hate to say it old blue despite a couple of hiccups Derby still look to me as a side more likely to move up and they have a stadium that is fit for the Premiership. I have not visited the King Power stadium or whatever it is called now but have fond memories of Filbert Street where I was fortunate enough on a number of occasions to enjoy the hospitality suites there and they offered the best hospitality of all the clubs I visited including my beloved Forest. It looks like my mate Nigel Pearson will be on the move soon if things don't change dramatically, he used to live next door to me as a kid and he and his two brothers would join me and my younger brother for a kick about but he was a mardy get and didn't like being tackled. I was not surprised when he spit his dummy out on the touchline some things never change.

I think NP was in the fortunate position that there was nobody better to take over from him or who wanted to take on the challenge. I think he will be with us until next Christmas and results will determine whether we hang onto him or not. For what I know some of his team selections have been strange. However it's not yet a forgone conclusion we will be relegated yet as there's a few teams in the mire.
I have a good friend who is an ardent Forest supporter. Lives in Blackpool but goes to most matches home, away, even friendlies abroad. He will be ecstatic if the sheep get promoted......... Not!!!

Foxy I know there is a lot of rivalry between Nottingham, Leicester and Derby but at the end of the day I like to see all local teams doing well, Forest did the sheep a favour today by beating Boro but they didn't help themselves did they? we at the Trent End have left it too late I fear but your team still have a fighting chance so all the best in staying in the Prem. and who knows Nigel (Peardrop) as we used to call him might send the lad that used to kick his ass on osses field a couple of complimentary tickets (maybe not).

Following yesterdays games there are now four teams at the top of the Championship, each of them with 66 points.

Don't worry, it's all friendly banter. I cannot understand those who take it all so seriously but I do enjoy humour from the terraces. Local derbies are always passionate affairs full of drama. Remember the one at your place a few years back when one of our players had a heart problem and the match was abandoned when you were 1-0 up. At the replay we voluntarily restored your 1-0 lead. Nice to see and very much in the spirit of the game.
The only time I went to the City Ground was as a young lad. By the time we got there on the train the match had been postponed due to a pea-souper. Couldn't see a hand in front of you - lucky to find the railway station again!!!

Meanwhile it's all very tight at the top of the Championship. It's all a matter now of who will hold their nerve. Meanwhile at the bottom Blackpool are already as good as down. I have been following their off the field fortunes and sadly, with a chairman who refuses to spend any money on the club they were as good as doomed before the season started. It's a pity what is happening there.

Congratulations RB on your win against Manu. Good match and the better team won on the night.
United were their own worst enemies - very disappointing considering the talent on show.
Watch out for Bradford/Reading. Looks like it could be Liverpool Arsenal in the final, barring mishaps?

Had a golden opportunity against Hull to close the relegation gap but even though they went down to 10 men we still could not score. See you all in the Championship next season. Only drew today because we were just not good enough. Some of our tactics leave me totally baffled.
I presume Mob's lot won. I can hear him up here in Cumbria!!

Mob's lot did indeed win .... 4 : 1 and for the moment we occupy the No 2 spot.

The No 1 spot however has thus far changed hands 18 times or so it has been reported

Well done, again, Barney for an away point at high flying Bristol City

We've got to be happy with a point against the runaway leaders Moby, and that pretty well consolidates our rightful position in mid table obscurity.
Thinking about next season already

Lost again!! However we played well, had the better chances but were undone by giving a silly penalty away and two deflected goals. Even though we lost, at least we put on a good show but luck is against us.
Win for Arsenal, the Gills made a draw and we'll not mention Huddersfield or Watford!!!!
Pleased Southampton won today!!

That has to be the most one-sided game I've seen in ages...... AND WE STILL LOST!

2 penalties not converted, and countless shots saved, blocked and wide, and playing against 10 men for most of the 2nd half!

Fulham have to be the most clueless side I've seen this season, I think they'd even struggle in L1, yet they somehow took 3 points. I guess that conceding from a first minute corner (a direct strike in at the near post) set the scene and suggested it wasn't going to be our day.

I can't believe we actually won a game. I thought for sure we would throw it away again as in previous weeks but a well deserved win it was in an exciting game with plenty of drama. We're hanging on folks (although I see QPR won as well!! ).

We are on a good run at the moment. My only gripe is with Bt sport. All they talked about was Liverpool and how unlucky they were and not how well we played. If I didn't get it free I would cancel my subscription......moan over...
Well done the foxes...

The media have their favourites and woe betide anyone who beats them. The level of bias from some commentators is incredible at best and infuriating at worst.
It does make beating these teams all the more enjoyable though.
You'll have to excuse me now whilst I check up how many more points we need to qualify for Europe.

There should be a few happy faces around tonight. Away draws for Forest and Gillingham and wins for Mob's lot, Huddersfield and Bournemouth. Together with our win on Saturday that hasn't been too bad a weekend.
I feel sorry for Blackpool fans though being the first club to be relegated. What a disaster that club is. It was predicted before the season started, when they only had eight first team pros on the books, that they would be relegated and if something drastic doesn't happen there some time soon they will soon be relegated again.
