We went to Badbury Rings yesterday for the point to point, it was fab u lous. Very cold, and me the big softie got a bit upset because one horse fell badly and I thought he was going to be put down because they brought the screens out. However eventually he got to his feet, but looking very down, they led him into the horse ambulance so fingers crossed, he might be OK. Lots of farming types there salt of the earth people. and very friendly. Well behaved dogs and the hounds of the Portman Hunt as well. I expect we will go again having broken the ice.
