I was wondering if it was possible to incorporate alerts on here for us members to receive. What I am driving at is that when you have posted or started a thread you could be alerted by email when someone has made a post on something you have written on yourself. A bit like it is on Facebook so you can then open up the said page and keep up to date on a thread you might want to keep looking at as I know there have been times when I may have not gone back to the forum and then can't remember where it was or even how long ago it was.
It's just a thought....

Mel, if you subscribe to a topic (go to the bottom of the page when on a topic) and click on "Subscribe" and then ensure that in "User Control Panel" you are set up for email alerts, you should get notifications.

You can - either select "Subscribe topic" at the bottom of the page or, when posting (using the full editor) check the "Notify me when a reply is posted" box

Ah I see. Haven't really explored the site properly yet.
