Hold those horses there QuizB...

Brentford haven't ruled out a 19-0 trouncing of the Cherries on Sat, and it's equally feasible that they could lose 10-0, and Boro win 10-0  :P

Word up here is that Eddie Howe is on the radar of West Ham, to take them into their new stadium.

I think that would be a good appointment for both parties.

He'd quadruple his salary and his team does play some nice football and he'll have a huge budget in comparison.

The West Ham way ?

Congratulations to Watford and Bournemouth and lets hope Foxy's lot do the great escape, our teams in Nottingham didn't last the season out and only a win for Notts County will keep them up now.

Congrats to all promoted teams, and all the best if your side are in the playoffs.
It's actually the best way to be promoted.

We've got a near sell out today for a nothing game for the Gills but we can relegate Notts County
County are bringing about 2400 down so should be a good atmosphere.

Our Great Escape continues and hopefully we can pick up a few points from our remaining three matches to ensure survival. We have Southampton at home, Sunderland away and QPR at home so on our current form we should make it. The trouble now is that everybody else is panicking and picking up points so it's very tight. Not keen on QPR so it would be nice to secure survival and condemn them to relegation on the last day of the season. Come on you Foxes!!!
I can't believe this is the same team who played so abysmally this season. What a turnaround!!

Total farce at Blackpool leading to abandonment of Huddersfield's game against them.

Our season may not yet be over - if the FA decide the game needs replaying then we may not be able to raise a team...Powell says that lots of them are leaving on holiday tomorrow!

There will be those of the opinion that the non-result doesn't affect either side, but there will be implications nonetheless, dependant on the decision made.

Personally, I feel that a 3-0 win should be awarded to Hudds, as happened in the Russia 2016 Euro qualifying game that had to be abandoned due to crowd trouble.

Go, Gunners, go!! It's 3-0 at half time which moves us up a place on goal difference. Every little bit helps RB.
Deplorable situation at Blackpool. I can't see them ordering a replay as most players will be going on holiday. The game should be awarded to Huddersfield. A pity for those supporters who had travelled for the match but I wasn't surprised by what happened. This had been brewing for weeks and isn't over yet.

Well, the Football League have decided that there will be no replay, nor conclusion of the game, but have not yet decided their full judgement in relation to the result. The FA will consider the actions of the fans, separately.

There will be bets to be decided, dependent on the outcome - so it really does matter. There's also the huge matter of whether Town finish above the dirty team from along the M62

I was at a F.A. Cup game at St. James's Park where Forest were thrashing Newcastle until their fans invaded the pitch, the game had to be replayed at Goodison Park where Forest lost 1-0 to a goal line nod from MacDonald.

Has anyone else noticed the pattern of League Champion sides this season:

Bournemouth Championship
Bristol City League 1
Burton Albion League 2
Barnet Conference
Barrow Conference North
Bromley Conference South

Look at the first letter of each team Barney, I think Towny has noticed it.

And Boring F.C. won the Prem.

Sadly your team sent our beloved Notts. County down on Sunday but they haven't helped themselves recently losing to teams they should have beat.

Now looking forward to watching some county cricket at Trent Bridge, no holidays booked from end of May to October.

They were hoisted by their own petard, Ray

Winning 1-0 (totally against the run of play) and trying to run the clock down with every conning, cheating and devious means available.

At one stage Roy Carrol threw himself to the ground with a 'mysterious head injury'
Gills players were actually laughing at this stage.

Then with all 11 behind the ball, County conceded the inevitable equlaiser in the 88th minute.
They then collapsed and we scored two more in the time added on that wouldn't have been available, had County just played normally.

County were by no means one of the worst I've seen this season, but on that last day capitulation, maybe they deserved what they got.

Ps I was joking about the link

Foxy, that is soooooo funny....but where is Mssrs Bent & Ince on that pic?

Sorry Darknight, but I can't be upset by Derby failing to get into the play-offs after the amount of cash they threw at the project.

Your right Barney, I was listening to it on local radio and they were always the second best team and I was surprised when they scored to be honest.
I am a Forest fan but I like to support the local teams and if Notts. continue to go the way they are the oldest Football League side won't be a Football League side.
