Trying a hotel basesd vacation for the first time in 5 years

Following a health scare we decided to holiday a little more often. Tried to book Ocean on the 20th inst. for 7 days, but no flights from Manchester. Received a Travelzoo offer email today and booked what seems a very good deal at the Atrium Platinum Hotel in Rhodes. Only visited Rhodes in the past on a cruise ship. Hey ho should be ok.

Hi Ray, pleased it was just a scare and hope your wife is now ok, these things do make us stop and take stock though, life is far too short so land or sea keep taking those holidays

Have you been via travelzoo before, I only ask because I get regular updates from them and they do seem to have some good offers so it is always interesting to have first hand experience.

We have not used them before, they were suggested to us by 'well heeled' friends As you know, they are not agents themselves but market deals for others. Our holiday is with Inspired Luxury Escapes

Every time I visit a public loo with a strong top of the range hand dryer..I think of you....lol

Good to hear your wife is ok now.

We haven't used Travelzoo for a holiday - yet - but we have booked various special offer meals etc with them, and they all worked very well, so I think you should be fine.
