Read Tom Conti before you vote.

This article was in yesterdays Mail, for me it succintly spells out the differences between diehard Tory and Labour voters. The antagonism that some Labour voters display towards a Conservative govt. has always baffled me, whilst I clearly prefer the policies of the Tories I don't hate the Labour party with that same vitriol.

There are many genuine, good, Labour people. At the moment I just fear Ed Balls in the treasury, and Millipede representing our country. The Greens were canvassing hard outside Bournemouth Uni yesterday. Just off to vote.

That's mild compared when compared buy the attitude of some SNP supporters towards those who dare to disagree with their views. And it's not just street corner rabble-rousers.

I do feel a bit sorry for the good folk of Scotland today, they seem to have overthrown the class conscious Tory hating Labour party, for an even sorrier bunch of Marxists who seem to hate everything British.
There must be some sensible middle of the road voters up there but maybe the colder climate prevented them from going to the polls.
It will doubtless be an interesting 5 years and I now find myself looking forward to prime ministers questions with relish.
