Love and Marriage

Unread post by Onelife »

“You must keep your husband satisfied in the bedroom department,” she added, “even if you’re absolutely exhausted. Otherwise he will go somewhere else.”

Davina McCall

Really!!

Well l decided to turn this theory around to see how my wife reacted.....putting on my best underwear, aftershave and sexy smile, l asked my wife if l was keeping her happy in the bedroom department....with an excited smile she disappeared only to return a few minutes later with a bloody paint brush in her hand.

It sounds to me that Davina has a few insecurity issues to deal with if she thinks her husband might look elswhere unless she is prepared to be there at his husbands beck and urge.

So how far are you prepared go to keep your partner happy....l've just started painting the second bedroom

Ah, when you said that your wife returned a few minutes later with a paint brush in her hand etc, well, I thought that she was going to set up an easel and then do a watercolour depiction of you in your Paddington Bear jim jams  .

ps ... reports do indicate that the majority of problems within a marriage can be traced to the bedroom.

sounds like the usual Daily Wail, Daily sexist, rubbish. Most probably taken wholly out of context to try to sensationalise a rather dull news day
Oh look , that's exactly what Davina said in reply to it being taken totally out of contect

what a surprise, the Daily Wail printing BS

Considering what Sue's husband has to cough up for a bit of hanky panky I think I should count myself lucky only having to paint three bedrooms

For some strange reason buying the good lady a new washing up cloth and upgrading from Morrisons own brand to Fairy washing up liquid didn't cut the mustard.

Oh well, it'll soon be Christmas, and I'll try my luck again with a designer tea towel.

Bl**dy women, you just can't please them :?

It's so refreshing and reassuring to be different - anyway, I love actually doing the decorating.

All I can say is 'vive la difference' - husbands should be spoiled.

Just beating a hasty retreat, looking for the fireproof underwear and a battle bowler (lost the boots and kippers!). 8-)

Am I alone in not being the least interested in Davina McCall's matrimonia arrangements? On a personal note, some years ago I painted and decorated our bedroom, while my OH took the kids to Euro Disney for a few days: - and I think I got the better deal

:shh: Spoiling a husband has little to do with what some people refer to as 'hanky panky'. :shh:
