How is your Weekend?
My weekend so far:
Registered with an excellent new Forum
Had my lovely Mum's Birthday Yesterday
Being surrounded by the white stuff I've been busy baking (crumpets, bread, fudge, soup, birfty cake etc)
Caught up with my sky planner
Played snow balls with the Dog
Just going to the Co op now to get some more booze as I seem to have drunk it all
Then roast dinner!
How is your's going?

Have emptied, sanded, filled, masked and painted (3 coats each), unmasked, and tidied up two rooms. One is our main bedroom and the other being the bathroom.
Also went to see Django.

We have attempted to decorate one very small room (the downstairs loo) still not finished, nor any of the things that Ken has mentioned. Does that mean we are hopeless? Don't answer lol.

I;'ve been lazy. Watched the tennis all morning from the Ozzie Open - what a match! Took the dogs to the beach, now got the fire lit and feeling sorry for myself, not allowed to eat as I have to have a nasty procedure at the hospital tomorrow

Good luck for tomorrow Lioness x
My weekend has been great
Bought an ICE waterproof watch as like to wear one when snorkelling
So much snow so stayed in yesterday and spent a lazy afternoon and evening on here - now addicted!
Sitting on sofa with daughter discussing a 3day cruise for next year as both grandsons will be 18 within 3 months of each other and both LOVED cruising and want to go again
Son and hubbie cooking a roast so going to enjoy that with nice glass of red.... Life is wonderful....
Oh and 6 year old granddaughter Chloe made a mini snowman on the garden table (which looks more like an owl
) and painted me a birthday picture xxx bless

Re: How is your Weekend?
Had a lazy Friday as snow was forecast but didn't arrive. Saturday went to Fleetwood to stock up on
fish and get new watch batteries fitted. Only £1 each on Fleetwood market and guaranteed.
Worth the cost of the fuel to get there.
Sunday more shopping at Boundary Mill as last day of New year sale. Tried on a fantastic evening
Gown but was obviously meant for a giant. So much material it would have cost as much as the dress
to have shortened.
Now just lazing around. Should have done some ironing but can't be bothered. Snooker final is
on Tv so mooching around on here.

Brilliant weekend Curly, Ta
It started early (thursday) due to Mandy being owed some time off and a Chinese banquet down the road. Since then had this forum arrive having tracked down David & Ken eventually, 2 cracking football results for both my teams and loads of lovely nosh cooked by lovely missus.
Also our very poorly pussy cat, Maui, who we thought we would have lost by now has perked up a bit and much more himself over the weekend.
A cracker

Re: How is your Weekend?
A fairly standard weekend for me - went out to work each morning with increasing amounts of the white stuff appearing on the ground meaning that, by lunchtime, I had to leave the car on the main roads and walk down the side streets to my jobs.
Today had to go and do some shopping for my parents between work hours, then take it to them down some very snowy/icy roads they offered me lunch only for us to find out the meat was beyond it's best so it's been a 'lean' day for me.
Got to hope the overnight freeze doesn't leave too many roads impassable for us who rely on them to work.

Re: How is your Weekend?
Had a lovely weekend Shirls.
joined a most fantabulous forum and have been mega hooked. Had lots of snowball fights, junior has been out with mates having snowball fights and then they all bundled back here for hot chocolate and a bash on the PS.
Have been checking on my passport, phrase book, currency etc for a short trip to the wilds of Derby next Saturday
.
Hotel now booked hey DN thanks for your advice we were going to book the premier inn at derby west, their prices for 2 rooms were £68 we wrongly thought that by waiting until nearer the time the prices should go down WRONG it shot up to £110. Tried the holiday inn at Pride Park but Derby are playing at home in an FA cup match so thought that would be a no go. Have now managed to book the Littleover Lodge Hotel which is really close to the venue so tickety boo. My lounge floor is covered in CDs and junior has been what seems like permanently attached to I tunes downloading music as he is DJing for my sister in laws birthday. Oh pants havn't got a party outfit oops
School is supposed to be open as is the college but goodness knows how I am going to get junior to school and me to work better find the skis

Re: How is your Weekend?
Friday spent the day at HAL's Private island Half Moon Cay in the Bahamas, Saturday spent the day in Nassau and today have sat beside the lovely pool at the Miami airport Sheraton, in 80+ degrees heat waiting to fly home overnight. It was uncertain whether or not the aircraft would make it out, but it's on its way, albeit a little late, so I just hope the M4 isn't too hideous tomorrow.
Wish I was back on the QE
