Jo, I didn't think that Celebrity scanned the cards - but I do think they have lists and they tick off the names of people attending.

They possibly don't, I did say I seemed to recall ?? it could well be we were ticked off a list but it was 4/5 years ago so I really couldn't be sure, never mind we will be sailing with them again shortly so I can report back with that and several other things which might be of interest to some :D

I see the Concordia Captain is writing a book about the disaster telling his version of events. Clearly he paid attention at the safety briefing because he had no trouble at all finding the lifeboat.

Oh heck Sue, I don't make a note of the suite numbers - I know roughly where they were, but I can't remember little things like that.

I can clearly remember a corner suite on a deck which was quite high up, but I can't recall the number - and the other suites have all 'gone in a blur'.

Thanks for the heads up about the Arcadia thread though - but I don't think I'd be much help.
oh well..never mind..it was just a thought.
I was under the impression you kept files and print outs, details etc.
Must be someone else who likes details.
I have only cruised 3 times..but the suite numbers and little things like that are all filed away.

Hi Sue,

My current files and records of stuff up to and including today's date have nothing to do with cruising or holidays. I do have files and records of future plans, but as they reach the end of their useful life they are deleted. I might have a note or two somewhere, but I'm not going searching.

Once a cruise has ended then I don't keep records. Having cruised just a bit more than 3 times I can't remember all the suite numbers. There was only ever one thing I really didn't like about Arcadia - and that was the exterior lifts midships.
