We have booked 4 nights in a lovely hotel In Venice...then 3 nights in Florence..for OH's 60th birthday next year.
Best bit is..we have managed to get Club Class BA flights from LHR return and the connecting flights with Avios points.
We did have to pay about 150 towards it and 105 to book seats for the 4 flights..
But saved quite a lot.
Now I just have to persuade him to let me spend his 473,000 amex points
