It ' seemed ', at times, a tad too hot in sunny Darzet but fortunately we had a pleasant breeze which made spending time outside the order of the day, complete with a summer BarBee of course.

Very warm down here in the Garden

Bloomin Operation Stack is once again active and the roads around Maidstone are grid-locked (once again)

Surley it is not beyond the ingenuity of man to build a huge Lorry Park directly off the M20 and charge the drivers £10 a night to park up.

By closing it between Juct 8 and Junc 9 (about 15 miles) that throws all of the traffic on to the old A20.
The reason the motorway was built in the first place was to avoid this.

Anyway, I digress !

Lovely day

Although it was just warm up here yesterday, this morning it is hot so I'll be out in the garden painting the garden shed and then doing a bit of hedge clipping.
I can't believe all the hype and scaremongering on the radio this morning. One chap advocating everybody go home as it's too hot to work. What planet do these people come from?

11.37

Currently 27.2 outside (in the shade) - 25 in doors.

All windows open with a nice welcome breeze. I went out earlier to do a bit of dead heading and watering but I shan't be venturing back out until around 6pm when I shall be sitting in the garden with the good lady supping on either a G&T, a whiskey or whatever else take my fancy.

Over 30 degrees outside in the sun, 25 degrees outside.

We walked down to the post office to post a parcel earlier, but won't be moving too much until later on.

28 C here in the shade - because there is no sun yet. Much more comfortable with no sun, but it's due later.

We are off to Carmen tonight, so I hope the theatre's a/c is working well!

38.7 C in our conservatory earlier today. The sun has gone round now and its down to 30C. As MOB says there is a bit of breeze here in Darzet, so it was cool enough to walk from Christchurch station up to Bookends while Sue did pilates...shorts on all day for the first time this year, and that includes the 17 days on Aurora to Venice in May. I love the hot weather, it's the cold I can't stand.

27 degrees in the house now, and I'm not even going out to find out what it's like outside.

I think we are due some rain tomorrow so that should cool it down

We're in Carbis Bay, Cornwall, at the moment where it's a very pleasant low 20s with a refreshing gentle breeze. Lovely.

It's been very, very hot here in Cambridgeshire today. 36 degrees this morning but it clouded over this afternoon and cooled off a little to 32. Don't mind it if I don't have to work, but got to go back tomorrow so hope it's not so warm .
